Modern Movie theater?

I was wondering if anyone on the forums has or now works in a modern movie theater?

I am wondering if they are now using the new DLP projectors rather then the traditional film projector?

What brought this question to mind is while watching a DVD I notice there are no cue marks as there were in 16mm and higher films that would tell the theater projection operator to change projectors.

I could only come up with two conclusions.

1. Either they no longer use visual cue marks in the corner of the screen. Perhaps they may have been replaced by an electronic signal on the film that does it automatically.

or

2. They are now using DVDs in place of film. Perhaps they might even use a direct satilite feed to the theater which transfers the image to a HD DLP projector.

Does anyone know the answer? Thanks in advance.
