Fascinating. EVERYBODY gave warning to the U.S. the attacks were coming. How would that many countries know about it?

It also defeats itself, an obvious collection of great U.S. 'friends' that wish nothing but the best for the U.S. and it's allies the U.K. and Israel, proving these warnings that is wasn't an inside job.

There was indications of a possible attack as the commission pointed out. It was also pointed out that there were policies in place which blocked information swapping amongst the various agencies-largely put in place during the Clinton administration...voila...we get DHS...guffaw

Elements within the US gov and likely entities outside of and above, knew about the attack. They actually were waiting for exactly such an occassion. But the attack was legit. However, help was needed. That explains all jets being occupied in a 'drill' at exactly the wrong time, it explains the media entirely being handed the same exact story to respond with at the same time within hours.

With this theory, people can all adhere to different degrees of help this group of conspirators gave to the hijackers.

The US government had to have been involved, but only on an indirect level. Given the time table it would have had to have spanned multiple administrations. We probably helped fund their training, and didn't move to apprehend them. We also probably knew an attack was going to happen around a certain date but we didn't know when exactly or what it would be.

What I just said is bad, but if it's more sinister than that, like Cheney being the mastermind well... that's the sort of thing that would cause a real government overthrow.

There's just too many suspicious things from that day. The dancing Israeli's, the deporting of members of Saudi Arabia to protect them, everything with WTC7. 9/11 resulted in a huge federal power grab, that was always the intent of it.

Bush had knowledge attacks were to take place before 9-11.

Of course he was aware of the many intelligence warnings flowing in from countries around the world warning him that Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda would attack America with hijacked aircraft and that is no secret. Even the Taliban warned the U.S. that Osama bin Laden would attack America, which is another nail in the coffin in regard to the claim that 9/11 was an inside job.

It's not like Bush and his cronies snuck in WTC 7 and planted demos like its watergate.

Since you failed to provide the demo explosion time lines in the WTC7 video, you have no case for explosions in WTC7.

There were plenty of time frames where demos cold be planted during "renovations"...

False! There was no way to pre-weaken the steel structure of WTC7, which is requirement for the demolition of steel frame buildings and not attract a lot of attention. It took many months just to prepare a bridge for demolition

Actually, I don't like fish, but let's look at the facts. After 14 years, truthers have failed to post a single shred of evidence of an inside job.

I asked for demo explosion time lines depicting demo explosions in videos of WTC1, WTC2, and WTC7 for a specific reason...there are no time lines depicting demo explosions in those WTC videos. In addition, I have contacted one of the companies whose team was operating seismic machines during 9/11 and they had stated for the record that at no time did their seismic machines detect demo explosions, and furthermore, their team did not hear demo explosions as WTC7 collapsed.

During clean-up operations, they were requested to assist in the clean-up operation I might add that they did not find evidence of explosives at ground zero. Why?! Because the claim that demo explosives were used at ground zero was a fabrication. Anyone who is familiar with the demo implosion process would have known that in order for explosives to be effective against steel columns, the steel columns must first be pre-weakened and explosions must be firmly attached to those steel columns otherwise, the blast waves will simply flow around the steel columns like wind flowing around a flag pole.

A case in point is the 1993 bombing of WTC1. Let's review the following photo and notice that the steel columns of WTC1 remained standing within that huge bomb crater.

Let's say that 1000 pounds of explosives were placed on the floors of each floor level and detonated at the same time. What will be the result? This bombed out building in the following photo is an example of what the WTC building will look after the detonations.

People get the wrong impression that if you place explosives within a steel frame building without pre-weakening the steel columns, the building will drop like a lead ball. Understand that we are not talking wood frame buildings.

To sum it up, the massive process of properly preparing the steel structure of the WTC buildings for demolition easily debunks the claim that 9/11 was an inside job.

How often have I told truthers to do their homework?! At no time did the CIA support Osama bin Laden's group, which was the Afghan Arabs, a group that was hostile toward Americans. The Afghan Arabs consisted of foreigners, which was bin Laden's group.

The group supported by the CIA was the Afghan Mujahideen. It seems that truthesr didn't bother to do their homework to determine that there were two distinct groups and that Osama bin Laden's group was not supported by the CIA . Now, for a free history lesson.

Afghan Arabs

Afghan Arabs (also known as Arab-Afghans) were Arab and other Muslim Islamist mujahideen who came to Afghanistan during and following the Soviet-Afghan War to help fellow Muslims fight Soviets and pro-Soviet Afghans. Observers and journalists covering the war have cast doubt on their significance as a fighting force, but within the Muslim Arab world they achieved near hero-status for their association with the defeat of the militant atheist, anti-religious Communist superpower that was the Soviet Union.

Osama bin Laden used the thousands of fighters he recruited in 1988 to fight against the Soviet troops in Afghanistan. After the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan bin Laden expanded his "jihad" or holy war. The goals of al-Qaida's jihad are to establish the rule of God on Earth, to cleanse Islam of depravity and to become martyrs to the cause. In 1998 al Qaida issued a statement claiming it was the duty of all Muslims to kill U.S. citizens including civilians. The Afghan Arabs, Osama bin Laden's group, was not supported by the CIA.

The Islamic Unity of Afghanistan Mujahideen (also known as the Seven Party Mujahideen Alliance or Peshawar Seven) was an Afghan organization formed in May 1985 by the seven Afghanmujahideen parties fighting against the Soviet and Democratic Republic of Afghanistan forces in the Soviet-Afghan War. The alliance sought to function as a united diplomatic front towards the world opinion, and sought representation in the United Nations and Organisation of the Islamic Conference. The Afghan Mujahideen was supported by the CIA.

Let's take a look at what it takes to prepare a steel frame building for demolition, which in the case of the WTC Towers, could take up to a full year to complete the operation before the demolition button is even pushed.

How Building Implosions Work

The basic idea of explosive demolition is quite simple: If you remove the support structure of a building at a certain point, the section of the building above that point will fall down on the part of the building below that point. If this upper section is heavy enough, it will collide with the lower part with sufficient force to cause significant damage. The explosives are just the trigger for the demolition. It's gravity that brings the building down.

In the last section, we saw how blasters plan out a building implosion. Once they have a clear idea of how the structure should fall, it's time to prepare the building. The first step in preparation, which often begins before the blasters have actually surveyed the site, is to clear any debris out of the building. Next, construction crews, or, more accurately, destruction crews, begin taking out non-load-bearing walls within the building. This makes for a cleaner break at each floor: If these walls were left intact, they would stiffen the building, hindering its collapse. Destruction crews may also weaken the supporting columns with sledge hammers or steel-cutters, so that they give way more easily.

Did crews take out the load-bearing walls in WTC1, WTC2, and WTC7? Of course they didn't.

Next, blasters can start loading the columns with explosives. Blasters use different explosives for different materials, and determine the amount of explosives needed based on the thickness of the material. For concrete columns, blasters use traditional dynamite or a similar explosive material. Dynamite is just absorbent stuffing soaked in a highly combustible chemical or mixture of chemicals. When the chemical is ignited, it burns quickly, producing a large volume of hot gas in a short amount of time. This gas expands rapidly, applying immense outward pressure (up to 600 tons per square inch) on whatever is around it. Blasters cram this explosive material into narrow bore holes drilled in the concrete columns. When the explosives are ignited, the sudden outward pressure sends a powerful shock wave busting through the column at supersonic speed, shattering the concrete into tiny chunks.

Demolishing steel columns is a bit more difficult, as the dense material is much stronger. For buildings with a steel support structure, blasters typically use the specialized explosive material cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine, called RDX for short. RDX-based explosive compounds expand at a very high rate of speed, up to 27,000 feet per second (8,230 meters per second). Instead of disintegrating the entire column, the concentrated, high-velocity pressure slices right through the steel, splitting it in half. Additionally, blasters may ignite dynamite on one side of the column to push it over in a particular direction.

To ignite both RDX and dynamite, you must apply a severe shock. In building demolition, blasters accomplish this with a blasting cap, a small amount of explosive material (called the primer charge) connected to some sort of fuse. The traditional fuse design is a long cord with explosive material inside. When you ignite one end of the cord, the explosive material inside it burns at a steady pace, and the flame travels down the cord to the detonator on the other end. When it reaches this point, it sets off the primary charge.
