Although I may not agree totally with your point...I appreciate you telling me.

If you have any specific question, feel free to ask. Maybe my answer will clarify my point.

Welcome to ATS. I wondered if citizens there are allowed to own guns, and if so, do you have a lot gun violence?

Welcome to ATS JedemDasSeine

I have a question,

What is the public opinion of the russian governments actions in Ukraine, Syria, and of NATO? and what is the public opinion of the US & UK?

It would be fascinating to get a real persons view rather than the mainstream media 'agenda driven' lies we get everyday here!

Thanks for the question. Civil guns are not widespread. People are not accustomed to the guns and even to the idea of having a single gun at home.

There were undoubtedly survivors from WW2 that emigrated to Russia after WW2 or so I've read in books such as "Beyond the last path". Perhaps there are Russian tales of alien technology that were inspired by emigrating scientists?

The overwhelming majority of the Russian people support the course of the government in foreign policy. But the fun part is that they learn their own opinion after watching TV.

High and welcome. .. how does it feel to be hosting the world cup? Is there excitement? Do you think russia bribed fifa officials for their votes? (Personally I believe there was something not right about it)

Also, you speak very good English and are well travelled.. are you from a wealthy family?

Come on, he just got here, and you're already questioning him about politics! I'm sure there will be time for this topic

Welcome. Haven't been to Russia in a long time, tell me, can you guys still drink as much as you used to, or maybe even more now?

And how's that old Russian vodka? Still any good?

Jokes aside, welcome and I'm sure you will enjoy here.

Hi there, I'm Ufoorbhunter, mainly interested in ufo orbs but does stray into other forums. Always interested in the the Russians, you saved Europe from Nazis, more importantly came up with an amazing creation called Socialism that was (and so is) so ahead of its time, unfortunately humanity with all its ME ME ME style greed and personal consumption is not developed/advanced enough for it yet. I do admire Putin for taking back Russia's near abroad. I also admire your space program that put the first man into space along with nearly every other space achievement first. I also admire your second to non industry that creates some wonderful products, I just can't stop buying your watches from ebay, Vostok, Poljot, Raketa, Probeda, Slava, etc.You Russians are the one thing that stands out from the Americanisation of Planet Earth. Good on you

Welcome to ATS. We don't get many from Russia here. Primarily US, UK, Aussie, Canada, France....the usual traffic. It always puzzled me and still does.

I play an online strategy and tactics game which has many Cinese, Japanese and Korean players with a lot of US and Europian players.

My point I guess, is I just assumed maybe there was certain Internet censorship in various countries and it explained why there was much online hobnobbing. But than there are all these Chinese players in game and here on ATS an Iranian. Now you.

Do you have to access sites like this via proxy?

Anyways, enjoy your time.

1. As for me, I don't care at all. Apparently there is some kind of excitement among the soccer fans. But there isn't any real excitement comparable to the 2014 Winter Olympics, for example.

I know nothing about the bribes, so it would be incorrectly to speculate.

2. Absolutely not. I'm just trying to do my best to manage my expenses. That's it.

Welcome to the International Tin Foil HaT Brigade my friend. Glad to see more diversity occurring here. That's if you really are from Russia that is.

I been to Russia, many times - St. Petersburg, Moscow, some smaller villages - my experience is that Russia is the most depressing place in the world.

So many people drunk and the youth has nothing to do. Cars are old and banged up. You have to wonder sometimes how they even still can drive. Russia has a lot of history but you can see how it is run today and that there is a only a very small percentage that really benefits from it. Russia with it's wealth of technology, knowledge and financial wealth should look different.

Most of the companies I dealt with highly preferred to meet not in Russia. They took the opportunity to leave Russia and spent some time away from their harsh reality. Believe me, because they usually brought their family with them.

... USA (NY, San Diego, Santa Monica) ...

You have seen but very small, artificial, and socially rarefied pieces of the U.S. I hope you will come to spend more time and see the more diversified areas of our country.

Best regards,

Welcome!

I am so pleased that you've joined our little community over here! I have been dying to ask someone from Russia...

Is the driving as bad as what we see on dash-cam videos?

I mean sure the US has more than its fair share of horribad drivers, but the things I have seen on these dash cams have left me with eyes bugging and mouth agape
