Who cares?

That is a very good question.

It was asked by Dane Wigington concerning the headlines of mainstream television news.

The point: If one cares about what is really going on on planet Earth, one must look elsewhere.

I have seen posts by the regulars on the Geo-Engineering and Chemtrails forum stating the authority of mainstream television news broadcasters, as if those broadcasters should be considered reliable and presentations on YouTube, for one example, should be considered far inferior.

The truth is, YouTube, if one picks and chooses wisely, is far superior to the mainstream media.

In the October 3 presentation of Geoengineering Watch Global Alert News, Dane Wigington reminisces back to his childhood when he observed the willingness of parents and coaches to accept intermittent smog in the area where he was living in California.

He was pointing out that this is a big problem. It is the problem of not seeing red flags. It is the problem of going along with things.

I challenge members to set aside time to listen and consider, instead of assuming everything is okay:

Let's not forget science and scientists that are far more reliable than the man you seem to worship.

Most broadcasters used discussing chemtrails and the fact they don't exist are meteorologists that are trained in the atmospheric sciences, and know more than most chemtrail pushers do.

I challenge you to make a thread that isn't all about Dane Wigington and his farce site geoengineeringwatch.org...care to take the challenge?

I'm not sure how this figures in the ongoing AGW theme, which is still a primary at the back of it all in what is now called Climate Change..that's if if you believe in Climate Change that is. It is either Climate Change, or it is AGW. They just keep changing the goalposts. The trick there..and it is a trick, is to introduce the possibilities that the planet is not warming for everybody just yet, but that it is ultimately warming in a modelled future climate, so some more ingredients were thrown into the recipe..expect more of this or that, or the other, which ultimately fail when some bright spark goes looking at the old records for this, that and the other to find that not so much has changed overall.
What is striking in Dane's presentation, is that he goes back to his smoggy days in California, which is/was?..pollution in California, a singular city syndrome that can be dealt with. The Smog in the London area, an event that occurred mostly in still and colding air, and that killed thousands eventually, was dealt with in the 1960's, that pollution event, when it occurred was prevalent at least since the 1600's. London is a much cleaner place today, arguably not perfect, but what is? City pollution is not a pointer to global warming or climate change, ground based particulates and CO2, a heavier than air gas tend to return to the ground area, notable in London where most city buildings once had a covering of soot, something I am able to recall easily. So, Christmas, when the snow is deep and crisp and even, and the wind has died and the home fires are burning..is a great time for a walk in the clean air? not really it's pollution, only there Mr wind is your friend, but neither has it anything to do with any kind of warming.

Does it not bother you that Dane has been caught making false statements and using bad science time after time? Don't you think it's a little odd/shady Dane blocks people on social media just for disagreeing with him or pointing out his info is wrong? What facts in this movie prove chemtrails are real?

yes he has. On here. On your own threads! Why do you choose to believe the shameful lies of Mr Wigington? How is removing a post from his website that politely points out the errors in his claims on specific points remotely justified?

I think removing a viewpoint that he cannot simply reason against is EXTREMELY telling of the man and his slimy motives.

I also agree with the point that Smurfy made above, about city pollution not being indicative of climate generally, and think think this is another example, to add to the long list, of Dane presenting things as being what he wants you to think they are, without any connection at all to what they really are. He either guesses wrong all the time, or tells lies. But you keep carrying on kissing his arse????

How can awareness be raised by someone who has none?

Members of ATS, and non-members who are searching for answers by reading but not participating, can take baby-steps in the direction of self-empowerment if they just recognize that one fact: The mainstream media is there, primarily, to distract us from the goings on in the world, one of them being climate engineering, that we the people would not allow if we were in control.

It's up to us to take control. Everyone has to decide whether to be part of the problem or the solution.

Your simplistic, nee childlike, way of judging things as one amorphous mass, us and them, good and bad, truth and lie, is very symptomatic of the way many believers on here react. Lurching from one logical fallacy to another as if their minds cannot cope with the fact there are shades of grey. Good honest and true people, absolute scummy rat bags and everything in between within every walk of life.

This must be why you believe everything and everyone who speaks out against chemtrails, why you accept whistleblowers at face value without any critical thought and why you simply dismiss anything from a source that you perceive to be mainstream as dishonest. This is why, to you, Dane cannot be a liar. He speaks against chemtrails and you've already decided they are the side of truth. Dane being a liar is a dichotomy you cannot cope with.

This suggests you are not actually capable of evaluating information on its own merits. That if don't follow the simple hard rule you've set for yourself you get confused and your head hurts.

Except he has been caught multiple times lying and out right using false info to push his agenda (these have been well documented on here and all over the internet). How can you deny something so obvious and well documented not to mention you have had multiple people on multiple different threads send you multiple links to that very info? How can you defend someone who only wants to create an echo chamber of only yes men and block views/facts that go against their agenda? Almost every person who done that in alternative media and even the real world usually tend to end up being exposed as liars, frauds, and not looking for the truth.
