The Carson campaign says it has no problems with Murdoch’s original tweet.

“We are certainly pleased to see that an astute political observer such as Mr. Murdoch is taking note of Dr. Carson (and Mrs. Carson), his message and his campaign,” it said.

So, he thinks both men are "charming" in spite of their race! What a sweet guy!

i'd be impressed with a "real" white OR black dude.

Carson is on CNN now and he will not categorically reject the sentiment of Murdoch's characterization of Obama. He said:

I agree that he's black and I agree that he's President and I'll leave it at that.

Which isn't to say he's "real" or authentic.

He also would not forthrightly say Obama is Christian. He left it at:
