I have never really bought this idea of "Assad is evil dictator". That is only cried out by those who want to topple him. But all in all, he has been very moderate and progressive leader. Now politically he's been against Israel, and thus US, and thus the propaganda machinery is beating him. But we should not forget the reality either. This guy, Assad, has kept the place from imploding.

Obviously the Russians are using the situation now to their own advantage as well. Basically, fighting ISIS allows Russia to deploy massive ground troops, and chase ISIS back to Baghdad, and split Irak between themselves, Syria and Iran.

This will be a massive victory for Russia.

They want him gone because he is Russia friendly.

Apparently that is enough to get your country bombed these days.

Shame on you America, shame on you!

Assad started bombing first, remember? Now Russia is bombing non-terrorist targets. What is this war really about, and why didn't Russia send in peacekeepers four years ago?

Do you suggest the Russians deliberately targeted ambulances ?

ADD : It's surprising that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights didn't report anything so far ...

Why not? Some people are trying to claim that the US deliberately targeted a hospital. Or are you going to admit that sometimes people make mistakes in war?

At least you're making it obvious about your anti-russian agenda.

I never pretended that you could bake an omelet without breaking eggs.
It's war, it's ugly, people are dying. The sooner it will end, the better it will be.
And if I generally advocate non-violence, ironically, I have to advocate the option 'boots on the ground', mandatory step imo for a faster conflict resolution.

It's silly to advocate the 'moderate rebels' as a mandatory element for a democratic transition, feel free to share your thoughts in this thread (by markosity1973 as well) if you want :

No, I am merely providing perspective. If mentioning Russians accidentally bombing ambulances makes for anti-Russian propaganda, what does it say about the members who have to mention the US accidentally bombing a hospital in every post? Or is that somehow not anti-American propaganda? Why not?

Because the fact you report - to make it even probably - has yet to be confirmed even by western MSM who will be happy to echo it if true.

If true, it seems not to have made any victims anyway.

Once again, you didn't answer the question.

I did. You just have to link the dots and consider that if it is a one shot info that you can't really cross-check it's probably propaganda. Anti-russian, Anti-american, it's all about what people want to suggest with it.
