Here again we have more proof that Syria is not your stereotype Islamic nation. RT interviews one of Assads' top advisors... a Woman. We are quite rightly used to here in the west but it is something that you would struggle to see in say Saudi Arabia.

Once again Syria is saying that the West doesn't or won't understand the real situation and the invitation is sent to join Russia in helping them.
When will our western leaders swallow their pride and aceept Assad as leader of the nation for now and help the Syrian army overthrow all opposition to pacify the nation to allow all those refugees to return and rebuild their shattered nation?

Thanks for posting this, markosity!

This woman explains the situation exactly as I have been seeing it, and the only way it all makes any sense really.

Notice how she is not judging. She makes the (probably correct) assumption that the west is not trying to eliminate ISIS, but still leaves room for the idea that maybe they just aren't capable of that.

Because Assad is an evil dictator and so is the rest of the Assads.

But on a more serious note, Syria was a Republic and was fairly open like it's neighbours. Syria always wanted to work with international bodies to help itself, that's why Syria agreed with getting rid of its stock piles of chemical and biological weaponry. All the people who wanted Assad and his regime gone probably hated how forthcoming and cooperative Syria was.

Russia has never changed it's choon either. It's a shame it's took Russia so long to take an active role, after all the coalition has been hitting targets in Syria for a while now.

It's not too late to work with Syria and Russia, it isn't to hard to think that once Syria is effectively safe they could have elections where Assad cannot run for Presidency. If the world wants to fix this properly then world leaders need to come to the table of negotiation without bias and work something out.

Imagine the land grabs if the Syrian government fell
It's not worth contemplating in that area of the world.

Basically, she is admitting that Russia is not there to eliminate Daesh, they're there to prop up the regime. Meanwhile, there are reports that the actual terrorists are slipping across the border into Jordan. Is Russia planning on pursuing them there, do you suppose? Bombing Jordan? They need to, because otherwise Daesh will rush through Iraq and flank them.

I was wondering what content the profusion of threads was burying this morning. So I scanned back to just before the thread blizzard started…

Can we have some of those reports please ?
The latest one I came across was this :

I have never attempted to demonize Russia. Just because I see Putin for the scoundrel he is does not mean I don't love Russia. In any event, by mixing in the politics of the Muslim world, Putin himself is demonizing Russia. There are already gruesome photos of the bombing victims online. They're being called "martyrs in the war against the Russian infidels."

Russia kicking a$$ USA bombing hospitals with precision .

The mandatory reference to the accident in Afghanistan. It won't be long until we start hearing about the hospitals Russia will be bombing on purpose

Oh and now the cry Russia is only propping up the government well yes it is

So please stop with the "fighting terrorists" BS.

and with her allies they are going to kill every jihadists from Damascus to Bagdad legally under international law

They were in Afghanistan legally, and after eight years they had to give up. As for legally chasing jihadist to Baghdad, the Iraqi government would have a much different opinion of that! Iraq is providing intelligence, not troops. If Russian troops set foot in Iraq, that would constitute an invasion, and they would need to be prepared to tangle with the United States.

the rat's are already fleeing back to where they came from and at the END of it all western government s are going to have to wipe the egg from their faces and answer serious questions

Don't worry, the rats will come scurrying back from another door, and Vladimir Vladimirovich will be the one with serious questions to answer.

They are from Russian sources, so they are probably not reliable:

"At least three thousand militants from the Islamic State, the Al-Nusra and the Jaish Al-Yarmouk fled to Jordan. They are afraid of the army's advance on all fronts and the Russian aircraft airstrikes," the source said.

"Unnamed military source."

Russia gained a major victory as it emerged that 3,000 Syrian rebels which included the Islamic State (Isis) fighters have fled Syria heading towards Jordan while Jordan is prepping to await the escaping envoys with force of its own delight. As it seems where Obama is failing, Al-Baghdadi is getting it Russian style.

Islamophobic Christian Arab.

Like the Chinese aircraft carrier, it's all the same story repeated into the echo chamber. Unlike the aircraft carrier story, this one is plausible. My understanding is that there are rifts in the organizations. Syrians are in favor of abandoning their positions and fleeing across borders that the Russians cannot cross, so that they can return to fight after Assad prematurely declares victory. The foreign religious psychotics, the core of Daesh, want to stay and give their lives meaning through martyrdom.

If you pay attention to Jordanian media, they are atm much more interested about the current troubles in Israel than by a supposedly massive arrival of terrorists fighter at their border ...

That's because they're not really terrorists, they are refugees. In any event, do you really think either Jordan or Russia is being honest about what's going on?

As if the US ever was honest about its ME policy.

Yes yes the gruesome photos that where published before the Russian plane's where even off the ground bit premature but how inever there will be tragically colatarol damage long way to go to catch up purposely targeting hospitals like the USA damaging the environment and troops with depleted uranium.
But anywho you figure this will be another Afghanistan well you figure wrong because this time Russia ain't going it alone but yes yes it is very similar Russia legally fighting in a country and USA illegally supporting terrorist
As for going to Bagdad Iraq has signalled that it was very impressed with Russian progress and considering asking the US to pack there because they are either incapable by means of "accidentally dropping arms to Isis" or as most Iraqi people think are directly responsible for the creation and exsistance of Isis
So in conclusion every man and his dog in the west who is not government related is cheering on Russia right now weather they like Putin or not
Looks like the scoundrel put an end some dastardly plan's lol

They don't need to be real to get the "Arab street"riled up.

but how inever there will be tragically colatarol damage

Of course there will be collateral damage. It's okay if Russia or Syria does it, it's genocide if the United States or Israel does it, right?

long way to go to catch up purposely targeting hospitals like the USA damaging the environment and troops with depleted uranium.

Of course, the mandatory mention of the accident in Afghanistan. As for depleted uranium, the Russians are already ahead of the US in poisoning their own environment:

www.wise-uranium.org...

But anywho you figure this will be another Afghanistan well you figure wrong because this time Russia ain't going it alone

They weren't going it alone in Afghanistan, either. Of course, the Afghan troops were useless, as are the Syrian ones.

but yes yes it is very similar Russia legally fighting in a country and USA illegally supporting terrorist

You mean Russia fighting on behalf of an unpopular regime and the United States backing the freedom fighters, don't you?

As for going to Bagdad Iraq has signalled that it was very impressed with Russian progress and considering asking the US to pack there because they are either incapable by means of "accidentally dropping arms to Isis" or as most Iraqi people think are directly responsible for the creation and exsistance of Isis

No, it is because Iraq is a Shi'ite country, and they are more loyal to Iran than either the US or Russia:

www.cnbc.com...

So in conclusion every man and his dog in the west who is not government related is cheering on Russia right now weather they like Putin or not

I would like to see that polling data, please. On the other hand, Russians are not thrilled about getting involved in Syria. Less than half approve, according to a recent poll:

www.levada.ru...

Looks like the scoundrel put an end some dastardly plan's lol

Let's see how things go when more Iranian boots are on the ground. Something tells me the "allies" are not going to see eye to eye.

You only need to browse the recent section of ATS to recognize the west is losing the information war.

Tragic really. Guys need to step it up before we are faced with another false flag. I'd rather you guys win.

Go Go Go

I'll even shut up if it helps.

If Russian sources are not reliable then no sources are reliable. The US is lying to it's own people about what it does on US soil, NSA anyone.

The US can't be trusted to do anything but lie.
