The Police Force of the Pine Valley, NJ Municipality

Saw this on Philly.com and found it interesting.

It tells the story of the 6 member police force that protects the 12 person municipality of Pine Valley which houses the number 1 private golf course in the world. The municipality is roughly 1 square mile in size and that is primarily covered by the aforementioned golf course.


"Some officers use Pine Valley to learn the basics and move on, while others are retired from other departments. Borough officials declined to make the officers available.

The pay is low.

The one full-time and four part-time officers, not including Rauer, make between $7,000 and $27,000. Rauer, who is full-time, makes nearly $42,000."

Anyway...something different.

I wonder if the LEOs get a reduced membership to the country club or at least a break on the green fees?

Nice! Surely a fringe benefit would include a complimentary daily green fee & a discount @ the 19th hole !!! F O U R ! ! ! - - - - - nothing like a burger and fries at the local clubhouse eithor!
