If a Christian truly is they will know the following verse and take heed:
Matthew 24:36
"But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

The only true sign in the Bible.
Matthew 24:15
"When you therefore shall see the Abomination Of Desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoever reads, let him understand..."

Otherwise , watch and wait .

Peace

People will believe or they won't.

Why do you get so angry about it? If you don't believe or choose not to find it entertaining or interesting, then don't bother with it. What perceived harm have you seen from it? Are there reports on scads of people who sold everything and are now homeless because of 9/23? If so, I haven't seen them. I certainly altered nothing about my life just because I was aware of the doom mongering going on. I figured if it happened; it happened. I think most felt that way.

I know better than to think any one day is "make or break" and any wise person knows likewise. If someone has had their world or their life or their faith destroyed because some person on YouTube didn't come through, then they weren't very strong in their faith to begin with.

But I don't see a need to protect people from themselves.

You forgot all the things that Christ talked about as signs of the season. That's why so many Christians are "looking up" as it were, and I count this YouTube prophet thing as a symptom. So many Christians getting overeager and anxious. We see the season and look up.

Then there are those trying to lead Christians astray. Trying to destroy your faith by setting dates and disappointing the faithful. I've seen that too.

The only ones I really like are the ones who don't set hard and fast dates.

"Lighten up there its all harmless internet fun"

When my brother checked on his nine year old son to see if he was asleep (prior to going to bed himself) a few weeks ago he found him awake and frightened. He told him all the kids in school were talking about a comet that was going to destroy the earth in few weeks.

Agreed

The season is evident IMHO, however discernment among the Faithful is sadly lacking in many cases.

That's right, my names Daniel, so you bitches better listen up to the holy truth I'm speakin.

But with my low self esteem, if I don't believe in myself, wouldn't that kind of be blasphemy?

Funny, my son goes to a pretty straight-laced Christian private school. No such problems here, and I wasn't going to tell him about those rumors because I thought they were highly unlikely myself.

Of course, if God wanted to do it, I suppose He could, but in that event, telling a child about it served no purpose other than to scare him. And why bother when I didn't really believe it myself?

Well what parent let their kids read the "comet to strike on September 22/23 thread?"

Wth?

I think you misread me. It was my nephew who said all the kids in school were talking about a comet that was going to destroy the earth in few weeks.

Of course, if his brother's kid is like mine, mine will fight sleep for any excuse. And the excuses can range from wacky to things like "I'm worried about my grandma and grandpa." So maybe the kid just didn't want to sleep and heard that rumor and used it as a convenient excuse? I know mine has made up some pretty wild reasons why he won't/can't sleep.

No, I didn't, but they had to have heard it at home which means someone's parent was telling them about it, and since this was a primarily Christian thing, I would assume my son would have had a better chance of hearing it at a Christian school from the kids there.

Some day someone will say, "see, i was right", but no one will listen as every one is dead.
a reply to: Mianeye

That's the downside of end of the world predictions. If they're right, they can't come back and say "I told you so" because they'll be dead just like everyone else.

It just moved to October, didn't you get the memo?

OCTOBER 2015 PROPHECY WATCH - HUGE!

The Rapture Puzzle - October 6/7, 2015 (Summary)

I wont bother with the Nov. and Dec. predictions till you calm down a little

Its not the sounding of a trumpet in October, its the trombone! Bigger, badder and louder and if we make it to November it's Sousaphone time! The brass is gonna get ya!

Even at my age , I rarely forget. Thats why I stated the one true sign . Most of the rest could happen (and probably has during history) . The abomination(obamanation ? I couldnt resist)) of desolation can happen only once. And that means 3 1/2 years till the end (some say 7)

The end of the world has been postponed until November* due to scheduling conflicts.

The memo went out on Sept 24th. Please check your inbox or your spam folder, you should have received it.

Thank you for your continued interest in the Apocalypse. We are dedicated to making this the best end of the world ever.
(*We reserve the right to reschedule the Armageddon at the last minute with no notice.)

Now if this could just be posted in every crappy doom prediction thread we'd really be making some progress.
Dates & times adjusted, of course!!

( note to self, blurting coffee thru nose is a BAD THING)

Doom porn is very lucrative. You can't blame the author/publishers for their stupidity. The only blame is the people who buy into it. Fear sells.

I don't know about everyone else but I'm waiting on the next Harold Camping rapture prediction. It's been awhile since the rapture was to happen and then last minute God forgave us and kicked the rapture can down the street some more to another date.

Where's Blossom Goodchild at so she can tell us the mothership is in orbit?

Maybe the end did happen and that's why Bearstain vs Bearstein is happening or the dress turned to white and gold...or was that blue and black?

Nelson Mandela has already died twice. Three's a charm.

The end is nigh!

Aren't you going to feel silly if one of these people are actually right one day.

It's the internet, I don't know what you expect from it.

I have a prediction based on years of incidents and strange occurrences. I've seen it clearly in my visions swirling in the chaos.

The doomsday porn will continue.

Prepare yourself now before it's too late.

The reason the "September 2015" predictions did not come to pass is because reality is multi-dimensional. Prophets just see one reality out of countless many. Let's just say that free will is a powerful thing and can influence events from happening.
