You want the second amendment to be erased from history?, because the only way that it can happen is if you want guns to be completely take away from Americans constitutional rights.

So far is not going to happen, as you can see historically the Supreme court had upheld those rights.

Even congress will never consider something like that and the reason they don't even go there.

So the people carrying guns that want to will do so anyway, regardless of what the signs say.

That just turns law abiding citizens into criminals by forcing them to disobey the law in order to exercise their 2nd amendment right. That's not right.

No, but they're already doing it.

I'm pointing out that gun free zones are pointless. If someone wants to concealed carry, they will.

The same thing for stricter gun laws. If someone wants to find a gun and they're determined enough -- they will.

I think even if we had gun laws like England has, we'd still see gun violence in America. Something is wrong with our culture -- there is something embedded very deeply in the American soul that is sick and diseased.

No amount of gun control is going to fix it. Arming everyone isn't going to fix it. Getting rid of medications that actually help millions isn't going to fix it.

Obama doesn't want to solve the issue... He wants to use the grief to impose his views and that of other gun-grabbers on the rest of the population... He wants Americans to be ruled by the UN and himself as appointed King instead of being ruled by the U.S. Constitution...

Criminals will always ignore the LAW.

But what gets me is.

Between the STATE.Law enforcement, CRIMINALS, John Q Public gun owner is see as the greater villain.

That is just as bad as blaming guns. Now people are trying to blame drugs.

In my opinion.

Whats going on in modern society is the break down of the family unit.

During the founders day since they were brought up.

Two parent family units, and GOD wasn't a dirty word.

Wow...so you are now going to blame concealed carriers for the increase in gun violence as well?

If criminals want guns they will get them... If deranged criminals who think enough to get weapons want weapons they will buy it from the black market or worse, they will steal them from police officers. in Cuba criminals arm themselves by attacking police officers and taking their weapons. But there are not enough weapons for an insurgency.

Restricting or outlawing firearms is not going to stop the increase in gun violence... If it does again why is it that Chicago, Illinois, and New York have so much gun violence, more than most other cities when guns are either outlawed or heavily restricted?...

Couldn't tell ya.

Don't give money to the NRA, don't really listen to them.

But be advised.

The gun control crowd creates, and sustained the NRA's by continually going after gun rights.

It's how all lobbyists get created.

Government takes power, wants to give itself more power.

And to think.

All the anti gunners have to do is lay off guns, Return constitutional rights as they were meant to be.

The NRA's would simply vanish.

Only on the surface. Dig a little deeper and you'll find that the ideas that each side has to reduce gun violence generally aren't compatible with those of the other side. That's why this issue is such a political quagmire.

The NRA is not what used to be, now they have an alliance with the gun manufactures that wants less gun controls and that had been able to get away with their money and power influences to have congress siding with them.

While NRA members believe that we need more gun background checks, those that are in Washington working as lobbyist has sold their soul to the gun manufactures.

In 2005, Congress, after heavy NRA lobbying, approved a measure that gave gunmakers and gun distributors broad, and unprecedented, immunity from a wave of liability lawsuits related to gun violence in America’s cities.

The NRA on the top are cashing on the billion dollar industry of the gun makers and gun sellers business.

You think we need another civil war in order to change the constitution or to give a more meaningful meaning to the second amendment.

If the states would just assert their ability to bypass the federal government by holding a constitutional convention, a lot of things could get fixed. Including the possibility of once and for all clarifying the 2nd Amendment and making its meaning unmistakable. Thus avoiding the need for another civil war and revolt to restore power to the people.
