What might they be looking for? An Alien saviour, or the AntiChrist? Why call it Lucifer? Isnt Lucifer the Bible's fallen archangel?

Ancient alien theorists say yes apparently..

A new book by Dr. Thomas Horn claims that Vatican astronomers are looking for extraterrestrials. And they are using LUCIFER to do it. Although it shares the same name as Christianity’s fallen angel and the personification of evil, LUCIFER is an instrument attached to the telescope.

According to EcumenicalNews.com, authors of a new book assert that Vatican astronomers are using both the VATT and the LBT’s LUCIFER instrument to watch for an alien savior.

Tom Horn and Chris Putnam, authors of Exo-Vaticana: Petrus Romanus, Project LUCIFER, and the Vatican’s astonishing plan for the arrival of an alien savior, visited with the Jesuit astronomers at the VATT, including Guy Consolmagno.

The authors claim that Consolmagno revealed to them documents showing that the Vatican believes “that we are soon to be visited by an alien savior from another world.”

Terrified the Annanaki might turn up and blast their ideology out of the water. Would be a good laugh. Love the originality of the name of their telescope.

Well, first off, the vatican and it's denizens believe a lot of hokey stuff, so it would stand to reason that they might be up to some weirdness.

I think the real question is, who named that thing-a- ma- bob lucifer? In latin it means the bringer of light, or the torch bearer. So, that kinda makes sense. But still??

The Vatican does not own a telescope called 'Lucifer'.

Nor does it own a telescope called 'LUCI' (Lucifer's new name).

Here is a link to LUCI's owner:

Ask a Jesuit astronomers on MT. Graham in Arizona, why they need to wait upwards to an hour to be able to view the stars. The answer may be stunning.

Why call it Lucifer?

Because Lucifer means 'bringer of light' and that is exactly what a telescope does.

Great name. Somebody in the Vatican has a sense of humour.

Except it's not part of the Vatican telescope. It's mounted on the University of Arizona telescope next to the Vatican facility.

That's not so impressive. It probably means the next-door neighbours wanted to get up the Vatican's nose.

Let me guess... You clicked on the link and read the story. Isn't that the OP's job? Can we call this thread a hoax or something then? Maybe start post banning OP's that can't be troubled to read and even correct their own stories? Idk, it seems like every other thread title is contradicted in the story lately and the OP doesn't even make a note about it in their comments.

Lucifer/En.ki saved mankind from the flood. He is the half brother of En.lil/Yahweh. In any race of beings, there are varying degrees of light and dark.

I read horns book but don't recall what you're referring too. Can you enlighten me please. Why the hour wait? a reply to: trifecta

M.I.T and consolmagno, a few more changes and it's good to go. Just missing a boat captain, don't think the anomaly divergent is interested in driving the boat, but you should consider him a librarian instead near Moscow.

When the observitory went operational, naturally a healthy amount of reporters wanted the scoop on the intriguing observitory. The Vatic/Jesuit ties, controversial nomenclature, the curious locale, and its sponsorship were all hot topics slated for the docket.

Even though the facility is secured like Fort Knox, the Jesuit handlers were more than amicable and congenital with the fairgrounds and queries. Close to conclusion of congress, with no surprise, a many fervent journalists couldn't resist the temptation to fix their gaze onto the heavens through the hallowed spyglass.

As suspected, the Jesuit padre, had no protest to such blissful scrye. Auspiciously, on a few occasions, the giddy ink-slinger was stalled due to untimely circumstances. Apparently there was moat and rampart withstanding their commune with the stars. Upon respite, disenfranchised spectators probed for rhyme or reason for the snub. Shockingly, this nebulous threshold was no less than a jaw dropping revelation. The moat and rampart allegedly been a school and fleet of empyreal vessels vacating the cold vacuum.

Far-reaching story? Maybe. But in light of recent comments from the Vatic camp, and the candidacy of the men of cloth, the constellation may be plausible.

Are you from Mars, or is spell-correction on your smartphone just set to Martian?

The Jesuits were 'congenital'? Seriously?

Hahaha, not Mars. The phone's guesstimates are a bit..."touched". Pair that with pre-nocturne soliloquy, and you have a volatile cocktail of Gordian glory...
