This is a video of a weapon being used in Syria by Russian forces. Can anyone tell me what it is? I mean, that is one hell of a fire rate and it would seem you would cut a building in half.

Talk about psychological and packing a punch.

It looks like a video game weapon to me...or myabe ghostbusters...

Its the equivalent of a minigun.

Its rate of fire is extremely high around 3000 rounds per minute with a multi barrel AC powered rotary cannon.

A raw laser would be perfectly straight. There seems to be some rather odd bending at the target. Tracer rounds could make what looks like a bend, but there would Al's be the appearance of a wave in the tracer line. A plasma weapon however, contained within a ring laser would arc near the target seeking out grounded locations. Not enough information to determine the actual weapon type, the viewing angle is bad.

Cheers - Dave

I've extrated the sound spectrum, and I think it's fire something like 1500 bullets/min. Is it possible? I counted the stripes that covert all the spectrum in one second, it's gave me 25. It's just a try, I'm not a sound specialist!

I would have to say their are people that drool over this equipment
that are arm chair warriors who never shot before.

and even after all that praying and spraying
those zombie hordes will still be kicking in their door.

en.wikipedia.org...

That thing in the op would have to had at least 5000+rounds in the magazine.

Remember folks there are rounds going down range between the light show.

It's a mini-gun. No idea what caliber. All I know is whoever is firing it really needs to learn how to burst fire. He's gonna melt those barrels.

PS - As others have stated, this is video from Knob Creek. Not Russian.. not in Syria. And it's a fairly old vid.
