Alright. I'll be doing that Columbus day weekend. Binge watching them all
I think I had an X Files game. Pretty old one. Never played it, but it was there.

I'm jealous of you a little bit.
I WISH I had never seen them and had all those seasons to watch fresh.
Enjoy!!!

Haha. I'm sure I will. And now I want to watch Twin Peaks as well.

Funny you say that. Just the other day I thought about watching that series. I never saw it when it was one. Aren't they bringing that back too?

I have no clue. Never watched it either. Hmm. A quick Google search should reveal a revival

I started re-watching all the old series back in June when I first heard about it. I just started season 8.

Pretty pumped up about it.

It trips me out more NOW than then. I dunno, some of the topics were just too prescient.
It all seemed so hypothetical back then, crazy, woo woo. But now......in retrospect.......?

Totally share your sentiment.

When I re-watched the entire series earlier this year, I realized that I had only seen about half the episodes and of those, many were not in chronological order. I was able to understand a lot of the plots/sub-plots a lot more. Great stuff.

I also never knew there was a Lone Gunmen spin-off. Unfortunately they are not on Netflix streaming so I'll have to rent the DVD. I was never crazy about the Gunmen, but I have such an appetite for the X-files I'll check it out.

This may have me watching network television again. I started re-watching the series on Netflix I was a teenager doing teenager things when the series was popular, so I missed quite a few episodes. I'm at the end of season 4. I need to get a move on so I can finish before January!

I'm pumped. What always got me was how utterly in touch Chris Carter is with the world. I know there were writers, but Chris Carter's ideas...man, they are on point.

Like the Lone Gunmen and a plane flying into the World Trade Center?...

I'm happy for you guys. Not a fan myself but I can imagine, say if Farscape came back. If they stick to the original platform ya'll should be happy as hell. I'll live vicariously through you guys.

No, just call it Skully.

Fun fact, Gillian Anderson & David Duchovny hated each other for periods of time while working on the show.

So

X-files meets Golden Girls ?

Throw in some aliens.

And a guy who smokes?

Sure why not

They have aged gracefully imo

I so miss the 90's "sighs "

But this as damn close as it will get to it

Im floored

Now if FOX would bring back married with children with Bud or Kelly as parents that could work. Oh and Sightings was and is still a favorite. But without todays UFO CGI hoaxes .... And I can die in peace.

Taking it you didnt watch the original because if you did you would know it's not just "a guy who smokes"

To be clear, this isn't a reboot but rather a mini-series to tie up the loose ends.
