It's almost over here in Cincinnati, OH, USA.

When my friends asked me where my pictures were at, I said "Thousands of photographers from all over the world are taking them for me."

Wow that's cool to see.

I didn't know about it until I was at the gas station just a few hours ago and the guy was like "Are you ready for the end of the world?" Hahahaha... I was like dude I'm not on ATS right now what is happening. oh but anyway that was in my head.. the last part. He was like "it's a blood moon what would you do if it's the end of the world." I was buying beer, so I told him I would be watching it all happen.. He said "I'm talking to the wrong person."

I seriously had no idea about the blood moon thing for now. I remember hearing about it much earlier in the year.

My avatar was changed was it yesterday?
Maybe day before.

Funny..

love those coincidences.

It looked beautiful from England. I took some pictures from Ainsdale beach that didn't do it any justice; it looked huge (super moon) and the shade of red made it more sunlike than I can recall seeing before.

So nice!

It is cloudy here, unable to see anything but a dull 1/4 slice of moon barely through the clouds.

And at the same time!
Coincidence? Or something more?

Ohhhh it was undoubtedly 'something more' and most likely a sign of things to come...

Lots of fresh photos of the eclipse at spaceweathergallery.com...

The UK time for it was around 3am-4am, so I got up especially early to catch the eclipse at its most. The Moon looked really really dark, dull red. I think it's the darkest lunar eclipse I've ever seen.

That pic in Vegas doesn't compare to what I saw. With the clouds in front of the moon it looked like the Death Star. Quite cool.
