i don't know a whole lot about RC craft
but beeping so loud that several streets can hear
and wonder and go investigating [and go crazy?]
and projecting a light at foot level whilst in a tree
both seem a little beyond the capacity i'd expect

Perhaps this is a lesson in how information gets exaggerated by the time it hits the internet.

I would like to thank the forum and several others for their inspiration and patience for making this possible...

Unfortunately I can not in good conscience accept this prize since this idea has been pretty much common knowledge by people that get information outside of UFO forums.
But thanks anyway.

Well not sure about your quote zetarediculan.

This is hardly exaggerated as I was on a call to the person within a few minutes of it happening. I would rather get the information out there live as it happens then take the egg on the face later if its a false alarm.

Anyway, I have been to the area and have a few pics (although they came out pretty dire) and an update from my friend.

The problem I'm having is when I click on "insert image" I get a little bar box with a X on the right hand side and two scrolling icons, no option to add the pics and descriptions.

Any ideas? tried explorer, edge and firefox (win10 64 bit).

Uploading a picture to ATS is a bit laborious to be honest.

1.Click the down arrow (highlighted) to the right of myATS

2. Click on "Upload"

3. On the left of the page you will see an up arrow and "Upload". Click on that.

4. Navigate to where your picture is on your PC

5. Then you should see the file appear as below. Click the up arrow

6 Finally you should see this

Copy the text above "BBCode for use in post" (it will be something like [pic ] .x234fsdsd..[ /pic] tags)

Then paste this "BBcode" into a new post and your picture should appear.

Well, its a harmless quote. Its not really anything to do with you or your thread. In fact, I would probably do the same thing that situation.

What I am saying is that its human nature. A UFO sighting ends up being an RC plane stuck in a tree. I wouldn't call it a toy either because I'm imagining a one of those really big ass RC planes, like this:

Any ideas?

I think that might be a size issue. try reducing the size.
