Rather a weak comparison, and not one at all really. Biden is talking about a terrorist group. Cruz names an individual, and I don't have to tell you that.
I guess you were desperate for a parallel. This one fails.

Weak eh?

Iran is a terrorist theocracy going around the middle east fighting Saudi Arabia for control of the entire region.

And the Supreme leader is the top dog of that terrorist regime.

Following ISIS to the gates of hell just might end up at the door of the Supreme Leader as ISIS doesn't like Iran either.

Cruz, Huckabee, Santorum: "They think it is their right to take away your rights, and your right to a secular government".
From the above vid. Good one.

You are preaching to the choir on this one. I think the ayatollah is the biggest bigot and most hate-filled person to ever walk the face of the Earth. He's right there with Farrakhan.

But I am saying, it is poor poor beyond poor diplomacy and politics to openly threaten the man. It's wreckless and stupid and very un- presidential.

It's pretty much tit for tat as Iran constantly makes death threats to the US.

Kerry told Iranians: 'Death to America' chants are 'pretty stupid'

Rush? Is that you? Are you talking about when Social Security was at risk, and the republicans realized they might have to support their parents so they backed off? lol.

Here is one of Cruz's more "insanely smart" comments:

“If you vote for me, under no circumstances will Iran be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons. And if the ayatollah doesn’t understand that, we may have to help introduce him to his 72 virgins.”
trailblazersblog.dallasnews.com... der.html/

Does this sound presidential? Or more like some thug in 10th grade?

Do I look like Rush? How does anything you just said invalidate what I said.........

OH wait, it didnt because its true

Yes again I agree. They do make constant threats, and yes it is stupid. I think you are willfully ignoring the point here though and just because they are stupid doesn't mean we have to be -- I hold us to a higher standard.... and I have to go walk my dogs. They are staring at me.

I am not too worried about Cruz.

2016 is still a long way off.

Look on the bright side though?

With Cruz the left can create their own birther issue.

I have 100 years of US political history as proof that neither wing of the US lobbynomics cluster-flux has an actual candidate that gives a ship about domestic or foreign affairs.

About 3 months after the next election, I will have even more proof.

This time it'll be different! (that was sarcasm, by the way)

Years ago when I first heard of Cruz I thought I liked him but as time went on he kept giving me reasons to dislike him. Now the only Republican who kinda has my attention is Rand Paul. The rest of the ilk are god awful.

I don't side with either Democrats or Republicans, conservative or liberal, but the more I learn of politics the more I dislike the people representing the Republicans. Democrats are terrible too and the only one I have my eye on is Sanders, the rest are a waste of time. Who are the other Democrats, just Hilary right?

In any case, Cruz is one wacky, war mongering SOB I ain't ever gonna vote for.

Rand Paul has some very good ideas and I believe he's a smart man.

Sometimes I think he's too smart for the Republican party, you know the Republican primaries are all about who can say the most stupid and xenophobic stuff and I don't think Rand fits that bill

Your bias is too predictable

Paul is too good for the republican party, but he embodies what TRUE conservatives like myself invision......

Paul is the embodiment of real Conservatism and what real conservatives want in this country.......

Thats a problem for the GOP

The problem is , people like you think that Conservatives are like Trump........which is completely false......

Nope I don't think the current Republican party represents typical Conservative values like limited Government, and true fiscal conservatism.

Just like most Democrats don't represent true liberalism.

I agree with Rand Paul on some issues, and I respect the man for not following the typical Republican primary script of saying stupid stuff to appeal to the base.

And if you actually took some time to read on what he truly believes, you would realize that he doesn't hate rich people.

I don't hate rich people either.

OK, let's talk compromise.

How about on abortion. Either you believe there is a human life inside the woman or you don't. That is more or less yes or no. How do you compromise on that? It's half alive? A zombie? Only has half a right to its life?

How about, you don't get an abortion if you don't want and no one will force you to. And you allow others to make their own choice and you don't force them. Sounds like a compromise to me.

I'm sure you have.

Read about his ideas with an open mind next time though.

He supports a marginal tax rate of 90% on the wealthiest Americans. Just like how it was back when we were living under the rule of the radical socialist Dwight D. Eisenhower.
