They had Mo on there, it was censored after the fact by CC not Trey and Matt.

Yeah people keep saying they never aired that episode. But I am pretty sure that they did. As I have seen it. CC just censored it by covering up Muhammad.

Now I think there may have been a planned episode to do it again that got 86'd after but he has been shown on the air.

But ya the usual talk track is that they never showed it which is false.

Yeah, I should have clarified that. Where decisions to air are concerned, that clearly on the network, not the writers. Parker and Stone don't give 2 flips, CC is the one who was scared of backlash...

Story has it that when they were making the movie and they would get told what to take out they would just make something else worse.
Think they only caved to get the R rating and not the NC -17.

If SP is still pissing people off then Matt and Trey are doing their job well. I did watch the Tom Brady episode(loved it) but haven't watched much in recent years. Maybe I'll have to set the dvr to record it.

After all they have done they still irritate people and when the supposed outrage is just as silly as what's in the show, well, that about says it all, doesn't it?

Oh boo-hoo, an animated depiction of Trump was the ass-end of mockery on South Park. Big deal. It's clear some people haven't seen any of the 19 seasons/200+ episodes of South Park, ever.

Seriously, this ^^

If you don't like the content, STFU & turn it off, or continue to not watch if you already don't. No one's forcing anyone to watch South Park. How hard is this?

I've been a fan since waaaay back, pilot episode hooked me on the warped humor. The entire point of SP's humor angle is to be edgy -- push the hell out of the envelope, ridiculous, satirical, and outright mock the target of the week. Nobody else really does this combo as well. Tosh tries, but pretty much sucks at it. If you don't like their humor, fine, don't watch. But quit having a cow over anyone watching when the point of any given episode is clearly going right over your heads.

Now I have a comedy itch to scratch. I'm gonna don my Respect my Authoritah t-shirt & Cartman slippers while binge-watching some SP. Too bad it's not Christmas, I have no reason to unpack my Mr Hanky ornament right now

Have you watched South Park before?

It has always been brutal and shocking (and funny).

What bothers me is that they didn't air the Mohammed episode, was that more shocking than this?

I've seen the leaked versions of the unedited Mohammed episodes. There wasn't a whole lot missed in the censored versions.

It was a pretty panicky response from Comedy Central, IMO.

Ya it was just some changing of a speech by kyle and the actual depiction of Muhammad right?

It's South Park. They offend everyone. Expect Trump to sue them any day now.

Honestly, they've done plenty against Obama and Hillary Clinton. Anyone remember the bomb in her ... mmm, you know?

There is nothing sacred on that show, right, left, doesn't matter. The only thing they've ever been forced to not show was Mohammad, and that was because Comedy Central forced them to not do it.

Pretty much. There was no actual depiction of Muhammad. I remember watching it for the first time, and saying "all that fuss over THIS?!"

They were walking around with someone in a big teddy bear outfit if I remember right. Wasn't that not long after the school teacher who was threatened for letting her class name the classroom bear Mohammad?

There was an episode with Mohammed in the 90s, too. He was a member of a justice league type group. This was well before anybody gave a crap.

Can't say I have much to say other than saying I don't watch South Park.

I tend to gravitate shows with more substance.

So can't say I am 'outraged'.
