One of the fascinating (and troubling) revelations that come out of this kind of discussion involves the ramifications of a time slip, if that is even
possible. If you experienced a true time slip, even for a few minutes, do you come back to the same timeline, or have you been irrevocably cast in one
nearby, that is 99.999999% similar..... but not really the same one?
Hence, the minute recollections of things you know have some conflicts.
How would we possibly know? I think it is an entertaining thought exercise, but science is a long way off from helping us with this presently.
