That is an assumption.

People who claim that they are gay do not claim to not want children (or at least many of them anyways. Same with hetrosexuals.)

Humans are biologically wired to procreate. It's about hormones and instincts.

Next, I am well aware that humans are wired to procreate. It's the result of millions of years of evolution.

Gay people love, they hurt, they care, they can hate, they have souls. Gay people can make good parents, they make significant contributions to society, they can do anything straight people can do. They can reproduce.

The question that you are dodging is WHY they would want to reproduce.

What's crazy is your unfounded assumptions. I have never said that gays don't want children. My entire line of questioning (if you bothered to pay attention and not just nitpick) has been that it is established gays can reproduce, want to reproduce, and have reproduced through heterosexual activity.

My question to you folks has been: Why do gays want to reproduce, when their DNA and/or Hormonal Pathways do not lend towards heterosexual activity?

I assume you mean hypothetically that everybody is homosexual. 50% of male and 50% of female are stuck on an island (this was brought up in this thread). The theory from some of the posters in this thread is that they would rather have the demise of humankind cause it's "icky".

And you have not answered the question yourself.

We have already answered your question many times. It's a biological need. Being gay does not mean that you do not want children.

They are human. Human beings have an instinctive drive to reproduce. Just like every other mammal who is fertile.

Biology has hardwired it into all of us to continue our species and generate the potential for trillions of DNA combinations.

Biology has also hardwired sexual attraction, pheromones and hormones into us. It's all an elegant dance of DNA, proteins and metabolism.

I'm intellectually, emotionally and sexually attracted to my wife (opposite gender) and we chose to produce a child that was the representation of the physical fusion of our love.

So gay folks want that too? Bad news...

Interesting that some of those "gay men" love their wives, just not in sexual way. Yes it is possible.
