Not a ton to add to the headline, just woke up to an alert on my phone. Yogi passed away late on 22 September, 2015. He was 90.

What a career, what a wit, what a life he had!

Wow, the Yankee broadcasters were just talking about him last night as it was the anniversary of his first game in 1946.

I can say that he was as funny and charming in person as he appeared during interviews.

He was a class act and a hero for his military service.

How sad... Yogi was a big deal to my father and consequently, to me. The first baseball card I ever saw was a1951 Bowman Yogi Berra, that belonged to my grandfather. My father explained to me how Yogi was a good man and a great ball player. A combination that gets rarer as years pass. So sad to hear this news. He will be missed by many....
