Topmix Permeable

Has anyone else heard of TopMix Permeable? I did a brief search of "Topmix Permeable" and found nothing. Hope this is a decent place for it.

This is an amazing Asphalt that allows water to train away. It literally drinks water.

Watch this Parking lot drink water.

Imagine this being put in place were floods are common, with the right drainage underneath, could this lessen the impact of flooding, from hurricanes, or tidal waves? How does it stand up in freezing temperatures?

I think this is pretty amazing. I would still prefer the solar roadway, I think it is more useful, but this is a great invention as well. Why am I only just now learning about this. I wish I had thought of it first....

What happens if the soil underneath does not absorb water at that same rate?

Where I live we don't have pavement, and we flood like crazy whenever there is a heavy storm.

The ground just can't absorb water at that rate.
