According to The Daily Beast (citing the New York Times), Scott Walker has called for a press conference at 6pm in which he will announce that he's dropping out of the Presidential race.

Scott Walker will announce he's dropping out of the presidential race at a 6 p.m. press conference in Madison, Wisconsin, the New York Times reports, citing three Republicans familiar with his decision. Walker fell to a literal asteriks in national polling after the second Republican debate and faced defections among his donors.

This was the Koch's candidate... I wonder what they have up their sleeve.

Yeah, he's been polling horribly lately. Didn't think he was strong at all in the Gop Debate. After watching it again, I didn't think Ben Carson seemed very strong there either. I don't think he'll last more than one or two more debates and he'll be out. Bush really appeared weak to me as well, and I think he's really the Koch Brothers preferred candidate.

Say what you will about George W, but he had enough Charisma to be elected. He was likable in the election cycle, Jeb is not. Thoughts?

Speaking of the debate, I though Christie came across as strong and likable, Carly was strong as well.

That should make the left happy.

Not surprising.

Money issues.

Koch's 'candidate' eh?

Mr. Walker called a news conference in Madison at 6 p.m. Eastern time. “The short answer is money,” said a supporter of Mr. Walker’s who was briefed on the decision. “He’s made a decision not to limp into Iowa.”

In the card game 21 an Ace can be 11 or 1 . it seems the Koch empire is realizing they got delt a crappy hand . But the house always wins and they own the house .

So lets see who they endorse for their next leisure time game.

I predict Jindal, Santorum, and Pataki (possibly Graham) are soon to follow.

When did that happen?

What's really pathetic is that we're already weeding out people on the Republican side, and the Democrats can't even hold one debate yet. Republicans are doing something right this election. I must say that.

Exactly. I thought for sure he was just lying low until the field narrowed a bit. I thought for sure he would go far if not win because of their money but maybe they played him, he isn't too bright... be their patsy, get to be President. I wonder who their real candidate is?

Hell, that might bump his numbers more than anything he's done up to now.

He doubled down on it.

Don't count on seeing Carson for much longer.
