This is who a few researchers believe commissioned the guide stones..

Seems like a eugenicist wet dream, the maintained population.

First I heard of this guy.

I am more interested in what is in the time capsule buried under the "Explanatory Tablet", or if it is even there at all.

Considering that the Guidestones were completed in March of 1980, when Obama would only have been 18 yrs. old - it is highly unlikely that he had the clout to get something like that built...

Rosicrucians is the most likely choice.

Anyone figure it out yet? I'll pony up the dough for the DVD unless it's exorbitantly expensive.

Bill Gates? Probably not Bill Gates. I'm mildly curious, PM me your theories!

There is no DVD. Give me the dough anyway.

Rosicrucians is the most likely choice.

NO WAY that is blatantly implying the "Knights Templar"/Freemasons were responsible.

R.C. Christian is a fairly obvious conclusion to draw....just look up the history of Rosicrucians and you can read plenty more on the reason it is an obvious conclusion.

Agreed.
Ted Turner financed the thing. He's also a eugenics proponent.
Whether he's a 'Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn' member is still unknown.
H.O.G.D. was founded in Columbus, Georgia and a modern day offshoot of Rosecrutionism.

Just another one of his 'billboards' (built his business on this type of advertising: claim to fame and fortune) in a different 3D SERIOUS GRANITE format with engraved words. That explains everything. A drunken prank by a known drunk.

One other fact, Atlanta (Turner) is equidistant between Elbert (Guidestones) and Columbus Ga (H.O.G.D.).

Would you call this *inspired genius* constructing a fake pyramid hidden to resemble a mini version of Stonehenge/Moses ten commandments or more resembling an enlightened "Barnum Bailey Center Ring Master" circus ideology which intent is to fake everyone out. Ticket prices for viewing will fluctuate depending upon your answer.
