Remind me, how much damaged did that do relative to the amount of damage the dooms dayers are predicting? How big was that meteor (not asteroid)?

Yup, we're still here!

Or, perhaps we all died in another reality?

Or perhaps the LHC created a portal storm which swallowed the asteroid.

Or perhaps the asteroid was never on a collision course.

Or, or, or ...

Nah, just another hoax.

Meh..........Maybe the the reality is we don't have enough belief in it, a good thing me thinks, Films seem to want this, me thinks bit odd that, to get people to think a thing could happen?

It seems that most people are expecting to be able to 'see' the rock coming in, but why does it have to be assumed that it will approach on the plane of the elliptic? There could easily be a large asteroid approaching Earth from another galaxy, aimed straight at either the Arctic or Antarctica, directly north or south of the Earth, how many people are watching those directions?

Can you see Polaris?
Do you know where it is located? Directly "above" the Earth.
