I will try. I heard it on the radio this morning and it was Bernie addressing some Christian school, I believe the day before.

Give me a few minutes. I'm not that good with these computers. If anyone else can find it, I'd appreciate it being linked...

And people should show where he wants to go against all of that.

Socialism on a grand scale is more or less antithetical to the idea of private property rights and personal property.

Feel free to read this thread all about Sanders and his remarks about America being founded by racists.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Here's the entire video because I'm sure Rush didn't play it in its entirety, or at all.

And he doesn't want a full blown socialist state, he is a democratic socialist.
I know the fun game is compare it only to Stalin and Lenin and all those guys, but that isn't who Bernie is.

Disingenuous tactics are easy to see.

Yet the Constitution itself has none of those caveats. That's the point. A consensus for the Constitution could never have been made by addressing those issues in those times. Yet the document allowed for that to occur at a later time...

Sheer brilliance. It allowed the gains that have been made to, in fact, be made.

It is NOT the fault of the Constitution. It was the best that could be done.

Yes, the sound-bite was long enough as it was basically a lecture by Sanders. I could hear nothing that implied an out of context quote. I googled the lecture but nothing has come up as of yet. Any help on that score would be appreciated.

It is a stretch and it isn't. Look at all the other Great Societies that were founded in the ideas of Marx and went really, really wrong deciding that removing inconvenient portions of their population would be part of their five year solutions.

But it IS a stretch, its not even a comparison

ISIS is actively murdering, beheading, blowing up, cutting off heads, and selling women and children into Sex slavery....

Im not a Bernie fan but that comparison isnt fair....

Bernie is doing none of that....

The Idea of socialism going bad and costing lives yes is a scary one........and trust me im NO fan of adopting an all socialist policy

But to compare this guy with a group actively murdering innocence is dishonest.......

Democratic Socialism still has no respect for person or property.

Democracy is two wolves and sheep voting on lunch. Or in this case a majority voting itself into my pocket and helping itself without my permission or approval.

A collective has no room for the rights of the individual if they get in the way of the collective's perceived "Greater Good."

I would say that is highly debatable and not set in stone in anyway.

Your rights end where mine begin trump individual rights and that seems to be the motto of them.
Does the individual trump the rights of the mass?

Isis can be defeated, militarily.

I'd rather be in the fight against Isis than live in country that is ruled by this one man's 'vision'.

From the way Trump talks and the anti Bernie's talk, you would think they will be dictators. There is congress.

Defeated militarily you say? We've been at war with extremists for how long now with no end in sight?

Defeated, mmmmmmk. So far the wars in the Middle East seem to only accomplish the creation of more powerful terrorists organizations.

But feel free to join the Army or Marines if you'd rather fight ISIS, and if you can't the join the military then just go to Syria and fight them, it's been done.

Dont we have universal healthcare now ? Thanks to the "Great One" . What another one ? Obama-Bernie Care? Ot perhaps Bernie would want to take credit and go Sanders-Obama Care ?
Bernie Sanders is a left-over hippie who still believes he is living in a commune in the 60s .
