In a lecture recently, Sanders stated that the U.S. was founded by racists or on racist principals.

With Obama, he was quoted as saying the Constitution was fundamentally flawed. He has certainly highlighted the weaknesses inherent in the Constitution, or at least, the lack of application.

With Sanders, we have an outright attack/invalidation of the very idea of the U.S. and it's fundamentals. He attacks the 'idea' of the U.S.. This permits, with those supporting him the right/obligation to totally change/ ignore that Constitution.

He is at war with the very fabric of the United States of America. Absolutely no different in that attack than Isis of extremist Islamists. In Islam, which translates into the English word 'submit' the concept of free choice, democracy or a representative gov't is in direct opposition to the tenets of Islam.

Again, war with the 'idea'.

While the motivation is different, the war Sanders, et al, are proposing is also a war with the idea that is the U.S.. Zero difference in goal or intended result.

While slavery existed at the time of the Constitution, so did every other sin/crime/ insanity that's been documented by mankind. Murder, rape greed, the whole litany of man's ills existed at the time. As it did during the formation of Magna Carta, the golden age of Greece, and every time a major advancement took place in our history.

In fact, having those flaws pointed out makes the very development of these advancements even more profound. They rose above the commonality of mankind and reached new levels. DESPITE THEIR INDIVIDUAL ISSUES. Simply amazing.

In our wars, no nation ever wanted the U.S. as a concept destroyed or erased from history...until now... Islamic extremism and now the 'coming out' of the Sanders gambit. Destroy the idea. Kind of makes sense when the trend of Islamic appeasement of this administration and the 'marginalizing' of Christianity and it's tenets. Destruction of the U.S., in it's present form, and some idyllic utopia rising from the ashes.

This man, as President, has the potential to make Obama look like a saint!!

He needs to be fought in the arena of ideas until thoroughly defeated.

Edit. I found the You Tube video of Sanders speech for those that are interested. I haven't yet listened to it. I wanted to get it out first.

If that's the case, he's a traitor. Why hasn't he been arrested?

Hyperbole much?!

He isn't out trying to kill people, he is trying to get people to play by the same rules as the rest of us.

Stop eating up the anti Bernie propaganda.
Don't worry if he does get elected he will have to get through congress to do what he wants.

Love how you some how added Islam into this too, gotta cover all the buzz words and fear points.

I disagree with most of what you're saying and especially the premise that Obama was a bad president. However, Sanders is better than Clinton and just about everyone on the right. I would daresay everyone on the right? I'm still undecided if I trust Paul, I like Carson, but he seems to be very anti science and although, on the surface it would appear that a man speaking his mind is a good thing, concerning Trump, the president of the United States needs to have some diplomacy. I'm not sure Trump has any, he reminds of of that little guy that leads North Korea. LOL

And now you see why I don't take you and other extreme rightwingers seriously. You literally don't know what you're talking about.

You're comparing a man who wants universal healthcare for all Americans to a group that enslaves Kurdish women & teaches boys how to decapitate people. And the worse part is apparently these are valid comparisons for you.

Please Bernie is nothing compared to the Evangelical Christians who want to force their own version of Sharia on this nation. So if you want to whine about people acting like ISIS then look no further than the Evangelicals in our government. If anything Bernie wants the Constitution to be upheld where others want to ignore it.

Our soldiers died to protect the 'idea' that the U.S. is. You can't kill the 'idea' by killing people...or soldiers.

War with the 'idea' is worse than killing people, in this case, as kill the idea and it's, of course, dead. Kill people and the idea can and does live on.....

I say it is not hyperbole. Rather the simple truth of it.

Founded by racists, huh? LOL! So, did you hear the whole question/answer? Or did you just hear that soundbite? And do you disagree with him?

I don't know... Maybe you need a history lesson:

Legally or socially sanctioned privileges and rights were given to White Americans that were not granted to Native Americans, African Americans, Asian Americans, and Latin Americans. European Americans (particularly Anglo Americans) were granted in matters of education, immigration, voting rights, citizenship, land acquisition, and criminal procedure over periods of time extending from the 17th century to the 1960s. However, non-Protestant immigrants from Europe; particularly Jews, Irish people, Poles and Italians, suffered xenophobic exclusion and other forms of ethnicity-based discrimination in American society, and were not considered fully white.

Sounds like people are getting pretty nervous about Bernie's climb in the polls.

Are you really asking if Bernie Sanders is worse than ISIS?

Then I read your thread.

Oh boy...

In our wars, no nation ever wanted the U.S. as a concept destroyed or erased from history...until now... Islamic extremism and now the 'coming out' of the Sanders gambit.

For real? There's really no need to break your post down and explain how silly it is because that much is obvious once your title is read.

Who do you support? I wanna compare them to ISIS too for poops and giggles.

They also died to protect the idea of people coming along and changing things that are wrong.
Sure that wrong is subjective but they didn't necessarily fight to keep things the same all the time.

You are comparing him to murderous thugs, it is a hyperbole full stop.

With Obama, he was quoted as saying the Constitution was fundamentally flawed

Where did he say this?

Hate to break it to you but it's been decades since a soldier died for America. Now they die fighting for resources the corporations that own our government wants. As Gen Butler said I didn't fight for America I fought for the united fruit company.

I think ISIS is a serious reach there, No Isis wants to establish a Caliphate and kill anyone that doesnt agree......

Bernie is just a Socialist

Im not surprised by any of the statements hes made, because hes a Socialist, he admits it, and those views are not uncommon for someone with Socialist ideology

I applaud the man for being honest, and forthcoming, hes far ahead of the curve for anyone else that are Democratic candidates......

Exactly. Sometimes when I'm bored, I'll break down an entire post in my response. But it's unnecessary w/OPs like this. We might as well start comparing Imperial Japan to the Thundercats.

It is a stretch and it isn't. Look at all the other Great Societies that were founded in the ideas of Marx and went really, really wrong deciding that removing inconvenient portions of their population would be part of their five year solutions.

He stated that the U.S. was founded by racists. he said it was a FACT. He can sugar-coat that with universal healthcare and the like. I care not.

I believe in the founding principals of this country and further attack on those founding fathers diminish that. I believe that is the intent.

If I have a choice between universal health care and the Constitution being applied? No contest. The Constitution wins every time....

If that makes me an "extreme right-winger" then sobeit. I have been made to take this stance by those on the left. I will take that label any day over yours....

Well I guess since one thing that Bernie does not have as a fault is dishonesty, someone should ask him his position on the COTUS and Bill of Rights and the individual rights and freedoms outlined therein as well as the duty of the CIC to uphold it.
