Not capable of stopping an ICBM. It's designed to be used against intermediate range ballistic missiles. It works great against those in testing. The very few failures have been either hardware failures, or an issue with the ship itself. It's designed to intercept during the boost, or midcourse phase, but an ICBM is too fast for it to track and hit.

North Korea..shut the fawk up, tired of it.

Was only put in place in extremely limited numbers, much of which is almost useless at this point due to lack of fuel. If a nuclear attack were launched on the US, we'd be able to stop some of it, but a lot of it would get through.

They haven't got the range for those, but I assume they will reach the US if NK says they are ready to nuke the US anytime.

So NK is talking about committing suicide. Looks as though their leader is really mentally unstable.

The level of pain that would follow for them even trying to launch one, at any nation really wouldn't be worth it to them. It would just be a signal to all the other nations it's ok to take the kidd gloves off and kick them around the block till they're forgotten.

I have yet to see a North Korean missile test
that didn't fall into the ocean 3 miles
from where it lifted off. So don't go within 3 miles
of their silos and you'll be fine.

North Korea does have nukes, whether or not they can use them remains to be seen. Having said that, here's a tidbit that I found on Wikipedia re. NK's SLBM's, which, btw, can carry nukes:

On 9 May 2015, it was reported by North Korea's state run television that it has successfully tested a submarine launched ballistic missile without providing much details such as place of test, time of test as well as technical details such as the missile name and its range. The information it provides is a pictures and Videos showing that Kim Jong Un is watching the test with a missile fired from a submarine with the name Bukkeukseong-1 or Polaris-1 inscribed on the missile body.

Does anyone know if NK has land attack cruise missiles? They would be much harder to detect. As far as I know, NK can only attack South Korea and Japan. Not sure if they have anything that can reach Europe or the U.S.

In the meanwhile their artillery is moved by tractors. I think it's safe to say I'll carry on with my day as if no such threat came.

I remember when the big explosion in the gulf of mexico happened there were many reports of a nk sub in the area.

Well I do not think we will see militaries going around destroying all tractors anytime soon.

Using tractors seems really stupid at first glance but a closer look one can find many advantages.

The biggest being u.n. classification OF WEAPONS.
