It is a hard thing to come to terms with, after 37 years of being a litteral "badass" that can always work hard enough, always win at every sport, always be the first to finish any physical task...

I am only human it seems....

At work on the 2nd of September, i hurniated myself at work.

I am the head of the pets department at Rural King, basically a country version of walmart.

That is this blue eyed devil at work.

Tomorrow morning at 6:15 AM, i have to meet the most cruel fate imagined for me, I have to go to the hospital, let strangers knock me out, and then cut on me.......and hope for the best.......

I have a very bad fear of hospitals, i honestly only fear 2 things, hospitals and spiders....

Rabid dogs...meh

Gang of street thugs....lol and

angry bear...so what

tiny little baby spider....im #ing running i swear to god!

I would rather be in a tiny box with 1,000 spiders than be in a hospital getting anything done to me ever! I even reset my own collar bone because i refused to go to the hospital, and my thumb, and had my brother reset my broken toe....

I am not one that is used to weakness or fear ATS, right now i know what true fear feels like, and I am ill equipped to handle it.

Most of you know i am not religious or into metaphysics period.

But since I was very young I have had reacurring dreams about this very day. It always ends badly, but im outside my body looking down as they try in vain to save me.

I think this is the reason for my fear of hospitals.

In short ATS, I johnwick the dick, am terrified!

If this horrible dream should come to pass just know, I love you all, and I regret nothing I have ever said.

Honestly my best times on here were spend in conflict with those that disagree with me, I am a fighter by nature, and enjoy the fight.

So many of you were such worthy opponents as to be worth praise, if for no other reason than your conviction to your beliefs.

That is an admireable trait, even though I think you are misguided and wrong (lol, sry had to poke the bear with a stick one last time)

I will be on until about 6 PM my time 5 PM ATS time, until then pull no punches, show me no quarter.

I will not show any, and ask none in return.

wish me luck, I honestly hear in the background "dead man, we got a dead man, we got a dead man walking here!'

It is a tough thing getting old, and not being young and invincible, it is a hard lesson to learn for one such as I.

Hopefully this isnt my last thread, and my dreams have always just been that, nothing but dreams.....

Good luck to you!
You should do fine as you are in good physical condition...
now to prepare yourself mentally...that's part of it too.

See you when you come out of surgery!

Man up. People go to the doctor every damn day.
It's just a hernia. (hurts like hell, so I (sort of) feel your pain.)

Don't be a wuss.

But as for spiders......yea, right there with you.

Good luck Johnwick, it's never a nice thing having your life put in someone else's hands, but it's a routine operation and you will be fine.

I thought a kick in the nuts is why you are posting this?

it's not a big deal. it will be over in no time and you will laugh at how much of a wuss you were.
If I am wrong, you can virtually punch me. I am 7 feet tall and bullet proof. (internet muscles and all)

John, it will be fine. Promise.
Just come back in a couple of days and we'll all have a good laugh about this thread...together.

BTW: ADMITTING you're afraid of something, is a strength...not a weakness.

Funny, it makes me feel like a bag of wussy wrapped in pansy carried in a nancy basket

Why would someone be proud of a sixpack when one can have a barrel

Do they take all your organs out of your body to work on your spine or is it done from behind? I know sometimes they need to empty your torso to get to the spine from the front.

However, good luck!

Oh man, are we gonna rip you to shreds when you come back.
J/K
Do let us know how it goes. We ATSers have this thing about one of our own, no matter how much we fight with each other. It's kinda like we can be horrible and nasty to each other, but let an outsider try it, and they've got the whole damn membership on their ass.

You'll be fine man, don't even sweat it, you'll be even more badass once you've faced your fear.

You'll be back to avenging your puppy with headshots and retrieving your stolen car in no time ... or whatever it is you say you do ...

Hey,
I jjust went through the same type of thing.
I wouldn't go to the hospital for anything but about a month or so ago I had to be taken to the hospital for EMERGENCY surgery to have my gallbladder taken out, I just asked my wife to not let them kill me. ...
My surgeon did a great job and said that she hadn't seen a gallbladder that bad in a really long time and she almost had to open me all the way up, but took the time to do it microscopic so I could get back to work.
And I am much better now, and looking back I can see that it was bad for a long time. So good luck to you and we will see you when you get back.
Stay safe
