Yeah, me too. I'd really like to know, but I don't really trust anyone that can afford to do a study. There isn't an impartial party that is willing to put up the funds.

Vaping has helped me to get rid of cigarettes and cut down my addiction to nicotine. I can't see myself vaping for another 6 months, and if I hadn't adopted it would say that I couldn't see myself not smoking at least 10 cigs a day by the end of the year.

I don't think it's safe, but I do think it's safer, and it's the only thing that's made quitting attainable for me. I'll take a few unknowns if it negates a lifetime of known poisons.

Hey Shane!

I saw you were thinking about the 1just2. I'll give you my two cents.
This is the first one we tried, and I really like it.

BUT. Hubby felt like he was constantly hitting it, so he wanted to try something different. We went to the only shop around last night, and talked to them. He told them what was going on, what he thought he needed. He ended up with the Kanger subbox mini.
He loves it.

The thing I noticed, comparing the two? The flavor you get out of the Kanger, compared to the ijust2, is WAY better.
Now I want one.

That's kind of the problem with almost anything. Especially plants with animal proteins inserted.

Caveat emptor.

I figure im 43 now...unless we are talking about killing me in 20 years, I figure i have an overall net win.

I find it funny. People continue to retool, refine or redefine their addiction and pretend it's new or safer or whatever the term is.
Folks, you have not quit smoking. You are still inhaling the addictive substance.

Where I am vaping is getting the same laws as tobacco.

If smoking or vaping or anything tobacco/nicotine related is something you are in favor for, you need to stand up for it. BTW Eggplant has nicotine as does tomatoes, etc.

After all, it is still legal. Right?

There is zero proof that inhaling some nicotine is harmful to 99.9% of the population. The ingredients in quality e liquid are perfectly safe and have years of data to show for it. The big cigarette manufactures and nicotine cessation product companies hate ecigs because they work!

Plenty of people just enjoy the act of vaping without any nicotine. It become a new hobby and some get into it big time with cloud chasing.

Don't believe me on safety. Listen to a doctor then:

I can make any flavor I want, but my favorites are banana nut bread, cinnamon Danish and lemonade with or without a few drops of menthol thrown in for kicks. I don't like the heavy throat hit so I mix a heavier vg to pg ratio.

I have a cheap set up which works but leaks and it gets way to hot. The only thing I like about it is I was able to find a all glass tank which makes me feel more comfortable exposing to heat versus plastic. If I could I would have an almost entirely glass unit well besides battery and heating element of course and for the same reasons.

I've read tests done by schools and some have found some bad crap in the vapor. It could be from the vape liquid itself but those rigs can get really hot and plastic and various metals and paints can give off who knows what.

Anyway I really wish I knew how to post pics. Cause what you posted is nice but the best I've seen is Carvella I believe the limited run originals went for aprox 3600.00 USD. I see knock offs of them everywhere (alibaba of course etc).
They have a very classy look with a sailboat logo. Here is an awesome combo that looks like a spyglass:

And Carvella w/ Senio wood mod:

Been testing the kanger subtank and subtank mini the last few days.... Thats all i can say. The Kanger protank3 was so horrible i was afraid to load up their subtanks. Im really, really liking them quite a bit. I don't have to take that long 7 second draw to get flavor like with a set up over 1ohm.

I've been a member here for years, but stopped posting and lurking a couple years ago, for reasons not relevant to this thread. Started lurking again recently, but only decided to log back in, finally, when I saw this thread and all its responses.

when I first saw this op posted, didn't think it would get any traction here. Am shocked to see how much it's grown and how positive the responses seem to be!

I quit smoking and started vaping 2.5 years ago when my son was born and haven't looked back or even been tempted to smoke. I see most here use tanks with factory coil setups. I've been using a Reo Grand and other bottom fed mods for almost two years now. If you can rebuild your coils, it's nice to have the fresh vape like a dropper, with the convenience of a tank; mine holds 6-9ml, depending on which bottle I use.
Tried to post pics but the pic button only opens a search bar on my phone.

Here ya go, not sure which one you have but this will give people a general idea.

If they would/could make one with an SX350J chip I would be all over it. I've been considering a vapor flask squonker but I don't want another DNA 40 chip. I'm really hoping they just use the DNA 200 with 18650 batteries and cut the power to 130 (who cares, that's more than enough).

wow. Thats all i can say.

He he he. I think someone may be getting hooked!

If you think those are good you should try something like the Herakles around 60 watts. Amazing. I also think you might really like temperature control. It works awesome for me as I like my vapor a little on the cooler side but dense and cloudy, and I never seem to take the same kind of drag. Hold the fire button and the vapor stays the exact same the entire time it's coming out instead of heating up, helps make flavors pop too.

I have 4 currently; 2 grands & 2 minis.
I make custom doors for them so I need them for sizing & photo ops. Very reliable mods.
You can get one of those sx350 squonkers from Tmod Customs. He's on FB, ECF, and Instagram if you frequent any of those. I've had a couple of his mechs and they are very solid! Also Catfish Atty Mods (same places) make bf attys from authentics and makes miss with that chip. Both guys named Tom, both solid guys.
Again, I'd post a pic of theirs if I could. Maybe I'll try tonight from my machine.

My I-Stick 50w power button stopped working after 3 months. I follow Youtube reviews from the likes of pbursado etc and decided to replace the I-Stick with the Innoken Coolfire IV 40w (pictured) which came with the iSub G Tank which takes ready made coils. I am getting a full day on one charge at 30w despite only one battery.

The iSub G Tank gives a different flavour compared to my Joytech Delta. I prefer the Joytech and have tried making coils previously but they only last for a couple of days (display reads no atomizer). I think making coils is an art form and I am obviously doing something wrong.

When I first started I had a hard time with over tightening and snapping the leads. And then I had a problem with not tightening them enough.

What build are you putting into the tank and what's your process? I'm sure someone here can help you get that sorted out. Using 26 gauge really helped when I started. Show us a pic of a coil in the atty?

Glad you got rid of the iStick. Those things are terrible, I had one and it started autofiring and turning itself on. I was bummed, it was a great size for the power.

I used 27G kanthal wire with japanese organic cotton with the SubFlow RBA Tank. I have not used the instrument which makes the coil and have used the mini screwdriver provided in the RBA kit instead.

I am currently away from home so unable to show the coils. They also make ready made 1.0 ohm coils which I have been using. When I return home I will try again without tightening so much.

I did go and get an Ijust 2, seems to vape OK but it gives a scortchy vape after anything more than a one second pulse. I am not sure what that is about really. I got it because it was available locally and it was 40$ for the kit.

Did i maybe get a bad coil with it? I would hate to spend more money on the thing if they are like that in general.

did you adjust the wattage down?

I can't use my Nautilus tank on anything above about 8w. Which sucks because when i put it back on my battery after using the kanger sub, i get a terrible hit if i don't remember to adjust the wattage back down.

My kanger protanks could take anything up to 25w, and actually needed it to compensate for the complete lack of airflow.

What kind of juice are you using? What coil are you using? How long have you been using that coil? How open is your airflow? What does the cotton in the coil look like?

Coils probably gone bad or is struggling with the juice.

That thing isn't variable wattage, wattage is going to be based on the resistance and battery charge. I have a feeling he needs to replace the coil, and it apparently only comes with one.

Coils can go bad sometimes sooner than they should however it could also be caused by cheap juice. If its from a convenience store its prob junk juice.

It bugs me that so many places seem to take advantage of people with crappy juice. If it doesn't come in a glass bottle and have a dropper and/or costs less than $15 from the physical store (per 30 Ml, not online) it's probably not great to absolute crap.

Those little bottles you see at gas stations are terrible. Using bad juice in a set up is like using one of the cheap gas station e-cigs.
