Just thought i would share my little collection with you fine folk.

Vaping has become a huge hobby of mine. It helps me to ease stress by getting lost in something physically and mentally stimulating.

Figuring out combinations of wire tension while twisting and how many strands of wire is a fun little experiment. Twisting the wire changes the shape and resistances of the wire. No two builds are identical because of that.

I sub ohm zero nic juices made locally here in NY. Those gas station juices are just an inferior quality and use cheap synthetic flavorings.

Maybe I will add some of my coil builds here for you as well.

I just recently gave up on cigarettes, mainly because it's impossible to get the tobacco I use for my custom-rolled cigs here in NYC.

Since I don't have the time to "geek out" on coils and custom builds, I went with the KangerTech Subtank Mini...

With the nice-slim pocket-sized KBox... and I use the pre-wound 0.5 ohm OCC vertical coils from KangerTech. I'm thinking of getting a few more tanks so I can easily swap around the juices.

I don't like the really sweet stuff (have you been to the Henley Vaporium?), and the Phillip Rocke Gran-Reserve Creme De La Creme is my favorite. Of course, I go with the 6mg nicotine.

Been smoking almost 20 years. This Vaping is getting big. I tried BLU.. the suction sucked. But for the last 2 years now I've been using..

www.greensmoke.com...

Went from $65 every week to $17.
My lungs can breath again. And my teeth are soooooo much whiter. Been seeing all the the neat customs. Frankly I use my E-Cig 2 times a day. Mind you my problem is I'm not ready to quit. But I kind of snuck myself into the "I won't miss it" chapter.

Dogs love me. We go on walks or jogs 2-3 times a day now. Not to mention the playing yard I built for them.
:-)
Skeptic! You are supposed to be in Arizona. Not NYC ... your supposed to be secret. Lay off the Gin.. lay low!

Do those not all do the exact same thing? What's the benefit of using one over the other?

Fun times! Just bought a new camera and have been thinking about trying it's macro feature! I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing so try not to mock me!

2 things.
1 Ditch the Nitecore charger. Efest has them beat hands-down.
2 That Tesla is a pretty decent mod. But the switch position always drove me crazy.

If you ever want coil or wire tips, pm me. I make and sell specialty wire as a side business.
Nice collection, by the way. Glad to see other vapers here.

For the 1 1/2 packs a day. It was about controlling a bad habit. Weight/intake/satisfaction. Some brands like BLU the battery and suction is designed to fail and cut you off. The brand I stuck with got me down to 4 MG's and the differance is big. Vaping is a better alternative. It's only nicotine vapor and not the carbon factor. ( it affects the Circle of Wills )

DOMO1.. like I said I'm not controlled anymore. It's my choice. I go outside more. I don't feel like I'm having a heart attack cutting my grass or cooking.... I'm devoted to my dogs when they ask. My memory has improved too.

Carbon Carbon Carbon.... it's like switching from Petroleum to Hydrogen.

I've been thinking about trying the kbox myself but haven't yet. I just ordered a new Koopor a few days ago and am excited to see what temperature control can do. I just recently branched off into box mods with the Innokin disrupter, istick mini, and a cool fire 4. I love them.

My go to tank after trying many (many, many) is the nautilus mini. I can't recommend that enough if you are looking for some new tanks. Get one and try it out. If you don't like it, I'll buy it back from you. That's how sure I am that you'll love it.

Also (since you don't like sweets) you should try the cinnamon flavor from highbrow vapors. I'm absolutely in love with that and order 4 to 5 30ml bottles of it at a time. If you miss throat hit from real cigarettes... Try it.

i thought about switching to vaporizers many times (slightly less harmful), but i dont want a science project!

all i need is a pack of 72's red, a lighter and at least one working lung!

to me its the equivalent of the transition from Instant messaging (when it was a craze) and facebook and twitter.

progression to me needs to have less input to reach the same output. theres too many stuff involved with vaping.

ill switch when it becomes 'point-and-click'esque'. buy a vape thing and smoke. no coils, no charging, no fluids etc.

thats just me though, i respect 'Vaparistas'.

I think it's safe to say. If you own or frequent this site, or understand what pac-man is. Or have a love for gaming and Mountain Dew. Nicotine is part of your life style. I don't think I've slept since 1992.... thank goodness I never lived in Miami.

I find it funny. People continue to retool, refine or redefine their addiction and pretend it's new or safer or whatever the term is.
Folks, you have not quit smoking. You are still inhaling the addictive substance.

Where I am vaping is getting the same laws as tobacco.

If smoking or vaping or anything tobacco/nicotine related is something you are in favor for, you need to stand up for it. BTW Eggplant has nicotine as does tomatoes, etc.

After all, it is still legal. Right?

As with most things you can make vaping as difficult or as easy as you want. Most of us start of to get off of cigarettes and then it sort of becomes a hobby where we can tinker on different equipment, try new things, etc. Then there are just those who stick with a regular ego style ecig that's pretty much no muss no fuss.

A minute or two here and there to refill your eliquid of course but that pales in comparison to the time it takes for you to drive to the store, wait in line, and purchase a pack of cigarettes... smoke those cigarettes, dump out and clean your ashtrays... I could go on and on.

What Domo posted above is not for beginners so naturally it looks pretty time consuming and complicated. But that is only a fraction of the products you can choose to use or not.

For me the ease in breathing and the other health benefits, (not including the monetary aspect) is well worth more than the amount of time I put into it.

But yeah... You have to want to quit to begin with or the excuses will always keep you from succeeding IMO.

You are still inhaling the addictive substance.

BUT we are NOT inhaling over 4,000 chemicals, including 43 known cancer-causing (carcinogenic) compounds and 400 other toxins. These cigarette ingredients include tar, and carbon monoxide, as well as formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, arsenic, and DDT.

We traded in 4,000 chemicals for just 3.

No matter what kind of math you do... That's still a win IMO. Not including the fact that you are helping stick it to "the man" (big tobacco). A lot of us have also gone completely off of the nicotine while vaping so that is not an issue for everyone either.

While it may still be an addiction, it is a much less dangerous addiction than sticking with cigarettes.

To both who have replied, thank you.

Kanga,
Yes you are down to three, until you walk outside and get blasted by pollutants from transportation and other constant polluters.

Bb,
I work at a university that has a nicotine free policy, but still sells pizza. Definitely an extreme example, but still hypocrisy. I just want to see tobacco outlawed, or allowed.

You'll hear absolutely no argument from me on that front. None at all. As in... "I got nothin'" I agree 100% and that's one of the many reasons I feel that outlawing smoking is ludicrous at best, asinine at worst.

For me it was a choice for my own health. Nearly dying from pneumonia and from mowing the yard... I needed a change and did not have enough willpower to do it alone. It has helped me tremendously on both fronts so I do it because it works for me with the understanding that it may not work for everyone.

I'm an RN/PHRN... NOOOO SMOKING HERE! My job or Carbon based habits. My university has "O" 's meh.. hot dogs and all the fries Ireland can have. UPMC

Granted the smell stinks on ice. Had to do it. But more less it came down to my pets. Pets and children have no say... being a 24/evening shift worker didn't help

Believe me. A Winston feels GGGGGRRRRRREEEAAAAAAAAATE. But put the carbon aside. Take the vape!
