On the upside, people will turn from this embarrassing evangelicalism justifiably disgusted by this evil behavior, their numbers will drop in time and christianity will be a minority in 20 years.

I can see the documentary now "Why did Christianity die" people looked at what they were doing (kims face) and thought why follow those evil buggers?.
They need a new PR guy.

It's the behavior, not the face that is repulsing reasonable thinking moderate Americans.

Christianity died a long time ago. I've yet to find more than a handful of people that actually live according to how Jesus taught. Christianity has become a religion of hatred and fear.

Imagine for a second that you work in that office. Imagine Kim Davis is your boss...
...
Imagine waking up, shuffling into the bathroom, yawning and remembering that you work in the clerk's office with all of this going on. Just thinking about all the cameras, media, protesters and your...boss all there waiting for you...

Man! That painted a picture that I don't ever want to see again! That would be miserable. I wonder if there's something I can do to show support for them... Hmmm.

So true... I miss the loving Christianity. It's still strong in some people (some members here) but it's a rare find.

This issue is getting downright petty... First the billboard rubbing it in Davis' face and now this... Stupidity on BOTH sides of this issue.

In my neck of the woods if you are causing disruption of business in public places you will be arrested.

BTW that includes preaching also.

I think The true meaning of Christianity died a long time ago when men realized that they could manipulate masses with it and become rich.

Now fanatical fundamentalism is finishing killing the rest of it,

That is a scary thought, just to think what religious faction will be number one and growing.

Kim Davis loses latest Federal appeal

Kim Davis suffered another legal setback yesterday when the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit rejected her effort to obtain an injunction against the Kentucky governor seeking additional accommodations of her religious objections to allowing marriage licenses for same-sex couples to be issued from her office. (See Eugene’s post here.) This should be no surprise as her federal claims are quite weak.

Thanks. Yes that's the link.

They basically kicked her back to state court.

Personally, I think the states had enough of her too.

Could you imagine working in that ludicrous office? Hopefully her staff are sick of the circus and sue her for extreme undue stress in the workplace,

That would be fun.

I'd love to see that happen.

Yup !!

Looks like the plan to set legal precedent is moving along smoothly.

There is a second appeal against the judge for claiming the suit applied only to the 2 couples, not everyone.

I have always felt this was the case:

According to the AmericanPsychological Association (APA), a strong and passionate belief in a deity or higher power, to the point where it impairs one’s ability to make conscientious decisions about common sense matters, will now be classified as a mental illness.

BREAKING: Kentucky Deputy Clerk Claims Kim Davis Violated Judge's Order

More drama in Kentucky as the attorney for a deputy clerk has accused Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis of disobeying the order of a federal judge by altering marriage licenses to remove her name and that of the county. Brian Mason, who has been designated to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, raised concerns with his attorney about the alteration of the license, the Associated Press reports.
