I failed an MMPI for a security company.
I don't think it took into account my training at the time.

Now these are the cops we should be supporting. These are the ones that deserve our time, energy, and money if need be.

Very true get rid of the gangsta like mentality from cops and and see a complete community turnaround in support and trust.

Look out ATS, we have ourselves a badass! You can tell by how frequently he calls everyone ladies. Baddasses are so badass that even men look like women to them. Real talk.

Keep showing everyone why they are right to hate cops and their lackeys, the phrase "out of touch" doesn't begin to describe it.

Damn you have an ego on you man.

I'm sorry for you with that mentality. I hope you can reread what you wrote and see why most people will have a problem with the way you speak and how telling it is of how you act on the job.

a reply to: butcherguy Very much so, I knew guys, tactical freaks commonly called 'Tackle-berry' who took poop very seriously.. especially poop poop. Every dollop evacuated as a tactical necessity.

Yeah, it's silly, until that one academy lecture, with nasty pictures, detailing 10 incidents of cops who were seriously full of crap when shanked or shot below the vest. The point, your new job has considerations most people would never think of, and make a conscious effort to take a republican and wipe your democrat, just in case.

No, there isn't. People at every job get co worker backlash for being un-popular or un trustworthy. Believe it or not, there are socially toxic douche bags in this world, un salvageable jerk offs who annoy and earn being cast aside.

3 days ago I saw 2 best buy goons squabble in the parking lot, one of them, apparently, was a "b***h-ass" with a small penis, responsible for the dismissal of a 3rd party referred to as 'my dog' . Do best buy employees secretly stand behind a stained thin line?... seen those youtube videos of urban elk McDonalds employees summarily beating the Mcsnot out of each other?.. must be a thin sesame seed line there somewhere.

Yeah, yeah..poor me, I had to endure fun & excitement 4 days a week. I would have done it for free, but the city insisted I accept full kick ass benefits AND $38 an hour at 22 years old... I was like "damn, if you insist". Flipping off CHP units while driving like an a-hole often caused me to laugh maniacally, sounds like a good time, but!.. If wasn't careful, I could get a cramp...that sometimes lasted like 10 whole minutes.

Let me tell you, 3 days off...so much worse than 2, can you imagine having to go one extra day without sporting a sadistic chubby after shooting, beating, or violating the rights of some random innocent person? I had to masturbate to Cops re-runs & faces of death parts 1-4 just to maintain a semblance of insanity.

There were rewards, it wasn't all bad...bringing copious tears of joy to children, was just another day on the force (snort)..On x-mas, I used bring disadvantaged at risk youth a free kitten, then bite off its head, drink its blood, and tell them, mommy was a crack whore who hated them, and I was going to kill their daddy because he was a bad man,..omg..kids tears of joy, so precious.. and delicious.

Cops must pass the MMPI, a personality inventory that psychologically damaged 'bullies' and other social rejects fail...lol..it takes 100 applicants to hire 3. You could be the "most wrong" on the internet today ..lol...

There is no thin blue line, or a fat one either... doctors avoid second guessing other doctors in court, thin gauze line?. Same with Fighter pilots, thin bomb line?. Uh, no.. most of you ladies wont understand, but there's an adult world out there... where highly paid & trained professionals have big boy jobs making life or death decisions when crazy #e happens...on a daily basis.

A cop or doctor who second guesses fellow professionals... based on the premise they evacuate flowery excrement and bask in a glow of human perfection, find out real fast.. there's no love for self righteous holier than thou douche bags, who soon find their every judgement, reported by co-workers as less than crap.

Hard work?, no..eh, tedious at times..mostly cops love love their jobs & can't imagine getting paid lots of money to do anything else. People would line up around the block to do it free. Its an exciting, interesting, unique & fun career...

Perhaps the best benefit.. is the ridiculous amount of girls attracted to the uniform. I considered most smoking hot chicks out of my league at 20 years old, then I got hired... at 22 I was getting laid like a rock star, banging airline stewardesses like porn chicks. While traversing the mall one day, a bikini model jumped off her perch, bounced over, handed me her # saying "I want to fk a cop"... a group of 5 teenage dudes saw this, cheered & gave me a standing ovation. What other job is that considered just another day at work?

You say that cops have to pass a test to weed out bullies and and those with psych problems. And only 3% pass.

How did you pass then?

You just discribed in vivid detail how being a cop gets you respect you wouldnt normally get. THOSE are the cops we are affraid of!

It was a cop just like you that couldnt keep his paws off the stripper witness in the Surrey 6 murder trial and now the whole case is fckd.

Some of us are actually proffessionals and dont pay any stock the demons that cross our path that seek to corrupt us. We know better than to take the bait.

I wonder what the friction coefficient of thin blue lines is.

My MMPI's come back skewed because I answer that I don't trust civilians to do tasks that I might be responsible for.

It's not so much that I think I'm the only one that can do them. It's more like I don't trust civilians to carry through with it. I can't order you to. So no, I don't trust you unless I know you very well.

Yes there is a thin blue line mentality with the police or whatever you want to call it.

A simple google search will help shed some light on the thin blue line and what it means.

We have seen the police protect the actions of bad cops over and over again. This thread demonstrates the backlash good cops have when they 'snitch' on a bad cop.

I hope you ladies like the color green...General Dempsey’s pronouncement set the tone—we’re going full speed ahead with women in combat. There’s nothing you can do to stop it and you will only be crushed if you try.

I passed because I'm special. Having outrageous tits gets girls respect, they wouldn't normally get.... afraid of them too?..lol.. A uniform is also known as 'the color of authority', some people extend respect to authority by default,... respect easily lost by being unprofessional.

Strippers need loving too. Every job has fringe benefits, don't hate.

Everyday a cop somewhere does something incredibly unprofessional & stupid.. also, father facial face pumps an alter boy, a politician takes a bribe, and a dentist plays gynecologist. People in every profession, mount up on, and vigorously screw without protection, the pooch. People, including cops, are not perfect...thats not changing anytime soon.

Cops have rights to due process, ..biased ignorant internet peanut gallery mobs are not arbiters of malfeasance..

Dont fear cops, KNOW cops, know their rules.. recall the wisdom of Michael Corleone in The Godfather Part II, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer".

People bond in common cause, shocking I know.

Blah, blah,.. "good cop" and "bad cop" are nebulous & silly peanut gallery values malleable to ones biases...

This guy is an opportunistic douche, you really think his virgin ears had never before heard callous salty cop co-workers privately make a bad joke?...haha!!

I bet officer jesus ignored a thousand bad puns before his overwhelming virtue compelled him to bravely come forward, he was probably a piss poor cop disliked by peers on the way to getting fired, didn't promote & had a diaper full of butt hurt, or couldn't handle the job and was looking for an angle to retire stress receiving 2/3rd salary tax free .

A bit jaded, but a valid argument that should be considered. I've seen people do similar things in the corporate world. It doesn't mean this cop was doing that, but it's definitely a possibility.

The real thing is bad cops need to be exposed more. Right now we are splitting hairs about who does it and how it is done. The reality is it doesn't matter who exposes it, we just need a police and justice system that is more accountable to the people.
