My oldest son and I use to do this in the snow. I had a little sports car and if there was a couple inches of snow, we'd go to a deserted parking lot and drift. 360s - hand brake turns, reverse 180s....my wife would have sh** a brick if she'd known.

The face on that kid was priceless! If I did this when my son was little and my wife found out, I would be in the dog house for a long time.

Funny thing though, in our household...

There should never be anything "mommy shouldn't know!"

Because it leaves the door open to "Shush don't tell Mommy its

our secret"

And you know where that leads ......

For some reason, this put me in mind of a recent phone call my cousin got from his daughter:

Dad?

Daughter (he used her name)

I'm Ok.

Daughter?

Car burned up.

Daughter?!

Got my back pack out.

Daughter?!!

You don't need to come.

DAUGHTER.

Will my truck be ready soon? Bye.

Apparently the wiring in her car caught fire, but she is a girl of few words and not much drama. And no, her mother didn't need to know.
