yes and i respect yours as well, sort of, but this is the 21'st century, not the middle ages, we have to do things we are not comfortable with to move
forward, can you imagine if everyone didn't do things because it offended their or someone else's beliefs? we would still be in the dark
ages.
Isn't that what we still do? The whole "politically correct" ideology is exactly that. If you have the "wrong" beliefs according to the tenants of
liberalism, you are outcast. Say anything even mildly "offensive" --even a simple joke-- and you get called "homophobe," "racist," or "someone who
lives in the dark ages." Look at the news. A six-year old gets suspended from school for kissing a girl's hand and his record says he's a "sexual
predator." An 8 year old gets suspended from school because he made a "gun" sign with his hand which violated the "zero tolerance policy" of the
school. If a guy in the workplace says to a woman, "You look very nice today" he can be sued for harassment.
Everywhere you look someone is "offended" at someone else's innocuous actions and pilloried for it. You think the "dark Ages" (they weren't, BTW) was
stifling? Try living in the 21st Century. And that's just Western Civilization. Try flirting with a woman in the Middle East and you get yourself
killed and the girl gets stoned in an "honor killing" by her own father.
I don't know what world you're living in but don't get too comfortable. They're coming for you next.
