Perhaps I have a different view of "This is not America" because I was actually close to some of the repercussions of Boyce's spying (Francis Nugan committed suicide outside the credit union for the aircraft company where I worked. He was involved in the setting up of the credit union and of the Nugan Hand Bank, which was a CIA money laundry. He and his partner Michael Hand were 'highly connected' to the US military, organized crime and the CIA. Mike Hand had been a Green Beret. Google it if you haven't heard of it, it all provides some interesting backstory to the movie "The Falcon and the Snowman".
