Think about things you dislike in this society. Ponder something deep you find as a fault with the culture of mankind.
Now instead of just recognizing the issue and seeing it as a problem, begin listing off possible solutions. Start cataloging actionable steps you can
take towards raising awareness about the issue or moving directly towards solving those concerns yourself.
Now, actually start working towards fixing the problem.
Then, continue working ceaselessly every single day until that problem is solved.
Too often we recognize faults in society and culture yet fail do anything towards engineering an answer. Too frequently we sit back and wait assuming
someone else is or will be taking care of the concern.
This is backwards thinking. And this kind of attitude leads nowhere productive for our species.
Only by awakening unto our role as caretakers of this planet can we ever hope towards solving its issues and addressing its concerns. And only by
recognizing ourselves as empowered towards catalyzing significant changes in society can we ever move our species forward in positive directions.
The corrupt individuals currently running this show want you sitting back lazy and unmotivated and remaining totally irresponsible towards solving the
problems of humanity. And that remains the case because those horrid examples of human beings want those problems perpetuating into the
future--because they benefit the most from maintaining the status quo.
That very situation--with the bulk of humanity doing little or nothing whilst a sizable minority of evil individuals continue stripping this planet
bare and running our species into the ground--is precisely why our species is currently in such jeopardy. Masses of apathetic and indifferent
individuals sitting back doing nothing are the only reason those psychopaths can retain control.
The only way that reality can ever improve is if you wake up tomorrow and lose the sense of powerlessness that keeps you from going out and striving
ceaselessly towards making a real difference in the world.
The only way this species can ever evolve is if you first evolve the person staring back at you in the mirror.
Therefore take that laundry list of complaints you created and start acting towards solving one of them. Pick something small if you want--choose
something insignificant to get started--then whether that involves working towards reducing crime by setting up a neighborhood watch or helping expand
consciousness and develop talents by volunteering to teach meditation or some other skill you possess, endeavor towards fixing that issue and making
our world at least a little better of a place to live.
But what if your concerns are all big-ticket issues like arguing for renewable energy or solving world starvation? There's always still something you
can do towards helping get traction for your concern.
In the age of social media we all have power towards making our voice heard. Start a community on facebook, attract followers on twitter, set up a
blog and start spreading the word about the problem--then once you have a sizable groundswell of support, start proposing plans towards engineering
real action.
Does this take time? Of course.
Does this require energy? Naturally.
But what better could you be doing with your time and energy than helping to change the world in new and better directions?
Is there any guarantee that your actions will make a substantial difference? Of course not.
But the probability of you changing the world through inaction is a guaranteed 0%.
Therefore, do something towards leaving this world in better condition than you inherited it. Do anything towards making this society and culture and
biosphere a better place for the next generation.
And never believe the lies promulgated to leave you feeling disempowered and disenfranchised. You have more power than you can possibly believe. With
your voice and words you can literally spread love and happiness and light unto all corners of the globe.
So wake up from your stupor. Snap out of your daze. Then get up and start devoting yourself towards changing the world.
And yes, these problems are your responsibility. Human beings own this world and made it into the mess it is.
Therefore as a human being you have a duty to act always towards repairing it.
So take another look at that list, then start thinking of ways you can get to work.
This is your world too. This is your culture and society.
And if you do nothing but sit back and wait for someone else to address the problem, it'll probably linger forever.
Wait for someone else besides yourself to change the world, and chances are that work will never get done.
