ATS CHAT??

Is there an ATS live chat?
Like a messenger or irc?

I was just wondering because i thought i saw something about it one time on the forums.

There was one for about forever. But it's gone away-issues I believe and or site streamlining. Wonder with the coming upgrades to the site, there may be another. More here: www.abovetopsecret.com...

Yes there was a live stream.

But I for one didn't know of it. For the regular forums were pretty streaming already. The owners even jumped in and ask after the hacking event if members were OK with it. There was even another issue after that which had to do with storing photos that I think. It came down to utilizing the space ATS has... trust me the site owners are still working hard ( with input from us all ) to keep the morning coffee abreast with content.
as the site is running.
There are to many grumpy cats here .
Non the less. Skeptic, Springer and an onslaught of site builders and mods had positive input on how to keep ATS up and running without issues.. members did have a say in it as well.

Give it time. It will get better. but the hacks are a B OTCH.

The ATS chat was horrible.

No because of the chat system itself, but because there was 'groups' in there.
If there came a "newbie" into the chat, all the "old dogs" would shut up, until the "newbie" was gone.
So the "old dogs" were running the chat system, which was stupid.

It was discussed heavily here, and the mods were sorry it went down like that.

Dunno if thats why they removed it.

ATS had a live chat. The business forum was up one day by Skepticoverlord. It was the first I heard of the forum. After the hack on ATS. The site went through a rebuild. And in order to make it run better. It was mentioned that the Live forum was dropped.

I didn't miss it because I never saw the forum. It seemed it was a very unused part of the site. So it was purged.

Oh, never heard chat referred to as live stream before. Livestream to me is live video of something.

Chat wasn't great. There weren't many people on it.

there was one but it was removed.
not the busiest place on the planet, but had around 20 or so people sometimes.
kinda sucks they pulled it, there were some people i enjoyed talking to!

I was operating on mobile. So I didn't see it either.( didn't take ATS in full form )I do remember stumbling onto to the videos.
It seems that NLBS has video now.

Edit: scrolling through YouTube. There are videos there before my membership days. Hehe, they are amusing. Wow.. George Knapp did a segment on Mustang horses and not UFO's ..

Well if SOMEONE cough "SO" cough cough would ever get done with their coding of a chat room....ATS might have one again one day lol.*seriously though SO is hard at work so we all understad a chat is low on th elist of things to do*

Good times good times, yea I've missed ats chat, do you remember when timely was accused of killing someone's horse and using it as an avatar, oh I spent many of drunk nights having a laugh a drink and a smoke.. Wish ats chat was still operational was a good time

That's such crap! Stop spreading hogwash. Show me evidence.

Their was only ever a hand full of people in chat .

It was always quiet . it would rarly get busy , only during the ATS shows .
