What is freedom? Is it being ran by capitalism where we slave for the man up top THAT DOESN'T WORK?

Is freedom the freedom of letting others die? The freedom to have no roads? The freedom to have no health care? The freedom to have no army? The freedom to have no education? The freedom to have no home?

Your utopian planet where once was freedom is no more and it ain't coming back. You are born a slave to the system but instead of making it a better prison for everyone, your going to get yourselves some golden bars with your freedom. There are no self made men anymore, it's just a lie. Houses are getting more and more out of reach to workers, so is education...so is freedom. The freedom to become all we can be, all we can live for.

There isn't a soul on this forum that made it alone, that chopped their wood, built their own house, built their own computer, made their own clothes and planted their own food...what you see as lost freedom I see it like progress.

People on this forum don't realize that most of this free time we are having comes from socialism.

No all that counts is the freedom to keep your #ing money because you rather spoil it yourself than let others that YOU feel didn't deserve it. Whatever deserves stands for...as if people really had what they deserved. Some people have it all without even trying while some work and work and work all their lives and nothing good ever happens. Deserve is something that happened 500 years ago when you could get free land and build yourself a life. DING DING, HELLO? This world, doesn't exist anymore! Stop clinging to the way of the apes and think that it's better. It's not better, it un-evolved, primitive, long due, too bad so sad.

It's not because that YOU lost faith in humanity that your primitive views are better. I know working for a better humanity is something you detest because it doesn't involve only YOURSELVES but we aaaaall have to face the music one day.

I know that whatever we do, we need to change the people up there but we never really tried socialism in a world that's not controlled by a wealthy elite, we never really tried with all the technologies we have today, we never really tried all together instead of fighting each other.

We've tried "laissez aller" and it clearly doesn't work.
Money brings power, power corrupts and monopolies are inevitable.

The only way to socially stop monopolies is by regulations from a government and a government needs money to operate.
Anyway you look at it, part socialism is inevitable in any civilization.

So you can fight against the current all you want, drown in it with a disturbed and selfish sense of pride or see the obvious.
Seems like a no brainer to me unless that's what you are lacking.

In many cases you are right, these small socialist programs taken together across our various local, state and federal government constitute socialism. That market interference, central banking and socio-economic interventionism is the reason we are in this mess.

However, local attempts at collective bargaining are a far cry from unapologetic overt socialism at the national level and I recognize the difference.
