The OP is about the flood of 'refugees' to Europe.

CORRECT...Europe

So why is he citing Refugee Data coming from the Mediterranean? Refugees from Egypt and Africa..
data.unhcr.org...

When the SAME SITE he sources has a page for THE SYRIAN REFUGEES..

MORE WOMEN THAN MEN

Because many immigrants from other nations are throwing away their true passports, and identities, claiming that they are Syrian to seek asylum. Not to mention that if we are talking about the surge of immigration you have to add them all, not just the people from Syria. Or do those other people in your mind don't exist? The majority of those people immigrating into Europe 72% are men.

Apologies for my aversion to hate porn propaganda.

You are deriding displaced and suffering families that are surviving a magnitude of tragedy that few can even imagine.

Some offer them grace and shelter, others offer them hate and lies...and we all settle our bill before we die.

Keep on being you if it works for you.

Let me be crystal clear...You are either continuing to cite 72% out of ignorance despite my repeatedly showing you the inaccuracy. Or you are intentionally misrepresenting the number.

Either way..it is BS according to the OP source itself.

The 72% is arrivals in the Mediterranean region which the OP Source definitively distinguishes from the European region.

It also is arrivals at sea, not including land.

It also has a disclaimer that it is what the Greek and Italian police have reported as registered.

So no...72% of the immigrants to Europe are not men.

Either failure in honesty or reading comprehension. Either way you can work it out..No reason I should continue to entertain your BS campaign after repeatedly pointing you to the facts as cited in the OP link itself.

Riiight, i forgot, those people are going to stay at sea, they are not going into Europe... You need more than just reading comprehension, you need a logical mind as well, and no sane person is going to believe the majority of those people at sea will stay at sea...

As for you trying to imply that because it says these people are arriving in the Mediterranean region and it doesn't imply Europe... Well, I guess you don't understand the meaning of arrows pointing the immigration towards Europe...

BTW, those figures are "arrivals by sea"... Meaning they are arriving into Europe from sea routes.

So, it is clear who is entertaining only BS campaigns and being dishonest...

So for the most part, they've abandoned their women and children to whatever fate ISIS has in store for them, or maybe to be killed by Assad's barrel bombs. I touched on this in another thread. 100,000 Southern rednecks and black people would clean that whole mess up very quickly if it happened here. But this time, at least, they aren't going over there. So instead, we have this crisis, which is simply a lack of guts to fight for the lives of their own families.

So if say 1 million arrive and 72% of them are men, then that's 720,000 "refugees" (I too believe they are mainly economic migrants).

So we let them stay, and then they send for their wife and 2 kids - thats another 2.1 million people that will be tagging along behind them.

How the hell are we supposed to absorb this many people from a different culture with little, if any skills that we need?

We don't need to import Syrians to flip burgers or stack shelves, we have tens of thousands of our own graduates who can't get a job already.

Reading in threads like this it gives me a good feeling welcoming hundred thousands of those immigrants in my country.
I see it could be worse.

But thanks to your thread I now picture this:

Man, Amen. The photographs of what these people are going through are horrifying. And I really feel bad for them. But other countries can't support this many people in one foul swoop. And why should they? If this many people are so unhappy with their country, it's up to them to stand up and fix it.

100,000 Southern rednecks and black people would clean that whole mess up very quickly if it happened here.

LMFAO! and double Amen on this!

Let ISIS show up in Texas....Katy bar the door muther f**ker, cuz 2 of us is goin' in...and ISIS ain't comin' out!

Hold my beer, watch this!

As for you trying to imply that because it says these people are arriving in the Mediterranean region and it doesn't imply Europe... Well, I guess you don't understand the meaning of arrows pointing the immigration towards Europe...

Those arriving in Italy and Greece by sea are primarily from North Africa, Egypt and Libya.

They represent roughly 200k of the 4 Million displaced refugees ...

And the vast majority are not fleeing ISIL nor from Syria..

This is not opinion...it is statistical, mathematical, geographical reality...it doesn't have to do with opinion.

So the argument that you can take the 72% male statistic from Sea Arrivals specific to Greece and Italy, as poorly and selectively recorded by Italian and Greek police as the OP Source says and refugees predominantly not fleeing ISIL and attribute that to the 4 Million refugees fleeing to Europe is plainly misleading or dishonest. More so when the same site used as a source has statistics and graphics specific to the Immigration crisis created by ISIL (Which I have linked to repeatedly), but folks are engaging in willful blindness there..

Next up why don't you cite economic data for Mexico and claim it is the USA...

This is just geography and math that folks have decided to pretend they are incapable of understanding...

Still don't understand why people abuse their own brains to further an ideology..

Please explain this data from the same site the OP uses...but actually specific to the larger refugee crisis effecting Europe from those fleeing ISIL? vs. North African Refugees from Egypt and Libya.

I am replying to my own post because I heard a different intrepretation, from someone who knows Syria, who's wife is Syrian and has spent a lot of time there.

These young men could be excaping 'conscription' into either side. Many Syrian families are attempting to get their 'militiary' age boys out of the country so they don't have to fight. I know, if I had a son of that age, I'd do anything so he could avoid being 'impressed' into 'service'.

wow...Now you are changing goalposts... Are those people immigrating to Europe? or don't you understand those OTHER people have gone to other nations?

BTW, there are many other Middle Eastern nations that are very rich, or fairly rich and haven't gotten, or accepted any of the refugees. Such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, Kuwait, Tunisia, and Morocco among others.

We were talking about the figures showing the people immigrating to Europe, and 72% of those people are men...

Like I wrote on the other thread, imo Europe should only accept the children, their mothers, and their husbands. Any male or female that has participated in using violence should be sent back to their countries and never allowed into Europe, or the U.S.

Still, that doesn't give any man, or woman the right to use violence, throw feces at people, or destroy or steal other people's property. If those men did not participate in any violence that is a different story.

I understand that is what you are talking about...and no, 72% of those people are not men...as the very source of that statistic debunks it, as I have repeatedly shown you through links I can only assume you are committing yourself to the false data for xenophobic propaganda purposes.

Lies feeding xenophobia or xenophobia feeding lies?..either way old and boring and no real reason to continue to debate with dishonesty.

It's not odd if you consider that many of them could be ISIS plants by the US and British intelligence. The UK is conveniently on an island, kinda hard to "cross" that border.

Might be more worthwhile to pay attention to the numbers and to what European countries they end up in.

I understand, I have a Syrian friend too. I know they're suffering. He's here, and his wife and baby escaped to Jordan. He is too old to be a soldier. But for these young men, when the fate of your country is at stake, it's time to fight; not to run away.

You obviously can't understand, or don't want to understand that the two links refer to different people... One source showing ALL immigrants from North Africa and some ME countries including a percentage of people from Syria which make up 50% of all people migrating to Europe... That's the one showing 72% of the people moving are male...

The second one is showing where the majority of the Syrians went to, which was to other Middle Eastern nations and didn't move to Europe...

None of those people will stay at sea like you even tried to imply earlier... They have to migrate somewhere with dry land...

BTW, perhaps you haven't noticed, but if you looked to the left of this graph it shows that 50% (the majority) of the people migrating to Europe are Syrians. Which again proves that the Syrian people moving into Europe, including those claiming to be Syrian and are in fact from other nations, are a majority male population.

Here is the rundown of refugees migrating to Europe:

50% from the Syrian Arab Republic.
13% from Afghanistan.
8% from Eritrea.
4% from Nigeria.
3% from Somalia.
3% from Pakistan.
3% from Iraq.
2% from Sudan.
1% from Gambia.
1% from Bangladesh.

All those refugees migrating to Europe 72% of them are male

data.unhcr.org...

You are trying to claim the second link/graph debunks the first, which obviously shows you are only confusing oranges with apples. Since you can't, or don't want to understand the difference what you do is shift the blame and trying to claim I am dishonest... Seriously the gall of some people just amazes me.
