Oh okay...so when you said

this is likely and this could cause even worse damage.

You had no sources to support your idea as to why it was likely then...gotcha.

I have skimmed a couple of the September 2015 dooms day threads in the past and didn't think too much at all of them, pretty much like any other doom porn threads. No offense, but no big deal imho. I haven't read the most recent 09/15 threads at all, including this one and prefer other topics. However, last night I dreamt that a tsunami hit California, I believe it was San Francisco (why I believe that, I can't exactly say). The water was symbolized by a dark shadow creeping upwards and almost completely covering a large business building, about 4-5 stories high. It kept happening over and over and I was glad when I woke up because the dream and the ominous gloom carried with it stopped. I know, I know, from the description it appears more like a flooding.......but that was not my impression in the dream. It was most assuredly a tidal wave/tsunami.

Upon waking from the dream, I immediately awakened my partner and briefly narrated the event so we could both remember it later. It really shook me up but it was early morning and I was still tired. I briefly thought about the dream, my interpretation of it and why it bothered me so since it clearly was "just a dream" but I did get back to sleep. When I awoke a couple hours later, it was about the first thing on my mind even though I had no longer continued dreaming of it nor any other doom or gloom events.

After rising and completing my morning routine, having a cup of coffee, my partner and I went to have coffee with friends, (an early morning ritual) and I remembered the dream and relayed it to them. I stated that I wanted to relay it somewhat publically as proof that I had this dream and when, also the reason why I am posting here.

Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea, in or out of the dream, of a window of time for this event. So for what it's worth, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Upon opening up ATS today and I see this thread, I decided I had to post my dream, here on this thread without reading much at all except for the first sentence or so.

I have had no dreams of this sort ever. I think that's why it seemed so surreal to me. I am now off to read all the posts in this thread because I am now very interested in this topic.

ETA: I am glad I posted on this thread after reading the opening post because it makes a little sense to me, regardless if it's predictive or not.

Ok so. Surely if this had any credibility there would be sightings of an object. Especially this close to the date? I've heard nothing about this.

I've been having dreams where I try to run away from a tsunami and when I get hit by it.. I try my best to hold on to something. Honestly, I kinda attribute it from reading all these predictions here on ATS. They've been going on for years now and whether it's HAARP or just a nature thing, it still kinda gets to you every time. I think it's us just being more aware of our mortality.

If the majority of threads were mentioning say, December, you probably wouldn't even consider September..

And when this does not happen will you admit this is all BS crap, and dreamers don't exist?

It's a simple question, why do you keep ignoring it?

To be fair, I don't expect this to happen but I definitely have had dreams (none regarding tsunamis and only one that felt like it was about a cataclysm, I started a thread on it a couple of years back), to say dreamers don't exist is definitely erroneous...

Actually no. If it were 500 kms, it would be obvious, but if it is only 2.5km then it would fall into the category where most professional astronomers would suggest about 24 hours warning would be god going without some stroke of "luck" by some amateur.

The basic formula appears on an astronomy page not a Doomsday site... designed to explain the extinction of the dinosaurs. I know there are some committed Christians who believe that the speed of light is declining etc, however, I honestly do not think that the mechanics and composition of seawater has changed in the last five and a half dozen million years.

STOUT BROUX!!!

A passionate, heart-felt request to StoutBroux. Please forgive me for asking this, but honestly, that is the most, extremely creepy Personal Icon picture that I have, pretty much, ever seen. It is REALLY creeping me out. I appeal to you to replace it with another so we can continue this discussion on what, I believe, is an interesting and possibly important topic.

On what site does it come from? Very curious, if anything to have another resource.

I am recalling that Werner von Braun was reported as saying that the plan of those in the shadows at the top was to terrorise humanity with a list of things so as to gain total control over humanity and the planet.

As I recall it was first there be terrorists and widespread threats of terror that would cause people to surrender their freedoms. Then there would be threats of asteroids to further terrify people, and finally a false invasion of space aliens would be dropped an an unsuspecting humanity. It was his assistant Dr. Carol Rosin who reported this I think.

I had this come to mind today as I questioned my own sense of fear about asteroids and tsunamis. I honestly do not know how much predictive programming or some sort of emotion influencing technology or weaponry may be influence our dreams and our emotions. The answer is an unknown to me, but there is something about my sense of fear that feels unnatural. And I do not like it.

Huge tsunamis have never swept through modern day downtown L.A., so how could it be commonly remembered?

You missed the point again. It doesn't have to be the same city, or the same country even. Natural disasters have happened, such as the Indonesian Tsunami. We're constantly bombarded with dooms day stories on crack pot channels such as History, Discover, and "SyFy" as well. There's plenty there for the brain to use as imagery. Even if that wasn't the case, the brain is capable of making up its own horrific and non-horrific images without any sensory input.

I've seen many creepier avatars here on ATS. The bug crawling out of the eye is the most gruesome. But my avatar is shared as an awareness to the Giant sunfish, aka Mola Mola which is an extremely gentle and curious creature. They eat a lot of jelly fish and are immune to their poison. They actually eat a lot of things as they are incapable of closing their mouths.

Despite their size, and they are the largest bony fish on earth, capable of reaching weights approaching 5,000 pounds (and may live for over 100 years), these gentle giants are susceptible to predation by several types of marine mammals. Orcas (killer whales) feed on them regularly. Sea lions, too, will kill them, and in a particularly cruel way. Having no tail, molas are helpless without their two large median fins. Sea lions will gang up on one and nibble away at the fins, removing any of the fish’s ability to swim. They then carry the mola to the bottom and wedge it under a rock. Essentially providing themselves with fresh meat whenever they feel like snacking. www.dailykos.com...

How interesting that "Dr." Nick Strobel could only land a position as a physics instructor at a community college. The history of his lectures and work are also subjugated to some critical feedback by his peers.

Numerous people have been all having the same dream lately, of vast tsunamis ripping across North America. I think I have found a way to test them against reality. Asteroids are pretty much the same, so if you know the diameter, the time and place of impact on the sea, one can calculate the precise wave height, diminishing with distance, as it roars across the ocean and time of impact on any particular place. There have been various rumours and various people having dreams about a 2.5 kilometre hitting near the isle of Mona off Puerto Rica at 2am in the morning, so I set up a spread sheet and plugged the numbers in. Although this would initially produce a 6.4 kilometre water spout, the collossal tsunami would diminish with distance, so a 2AM hit would produce a 115 foot tsunami hitting New York City shortly after 4.06AM in the morning. I have taken numerous dreams where people have time of day, height of wave and locality. Some are crap, but some are producing stunning results. In one person's dream, he is woken up and sees his clock at 1.40AM and is about to be hit by a 70 foot wave. When taking time zones into account, my spreadsheet gave his city being hit shortly after 1.36AM by a wave of a height of 70.04 feet! This vast torrent of dreams with results so bang on consistent with a 2.5 kilometre asteroid hit off Puerto Rica is unnerving. Furthermore, a 2.5 kilometre hit also has further effects. Such an asteroid would smash its way straight through the crust into the mantle. This would result in, in effect, an infinite flood of sea water pouring straight onto an effectively infinite supply superheated liquid mantle at several thousand degrees. It would create, in effect, a monumental geezer with limitless steam triggering an almost unending sequence of tsunamis for many, many years. Finally, those who have dreamt of this and are consistent with this event have generally given 22nd September 2015 as the impact date.

Holy wall of words...

If the 23 comes the OP owes me a beer for the eye pain of reading this post...

A new bunch of stuff on the internet gives a 2.5 MILE rather than kilometre comet.

My chart therefore gives a 61.8 metre tsunami hitting Ottawa 2.55 hours after impact.
