Walmart to Reopen 5 Stores Closed For Plumbing Issues That Became A Labor Dispute.

Wal-Mart is planning to reopen five stores it closed last April for major plumping problems including two in Texas located in Midland and Livingston.

The abrupt store closings became the subject of a complaint filed with the National Labor Relations Board by the United Food and Commercial Workers Union on behalf of the 2,200 employees. The complaint filed in April argued that the closings were retaliation for labor activism.

The Labor Board’s spokeswoman Jessica Kahanek said Thursday that “this case is still under investigation.”

Remember, these stores closings are famous for another reason. Some people believed Wal-Mart was in cahoots with the U.S. military and was really building tunnels for its Jade Helm exercises and a takeover of Texas by the federal government.

Didn't see this posted elsewhere.

Unsurprisingly, it turns out it didn't have anything to do with Jade Helm.

It was certainly a reach to say the least any way.

Oh, I don't know. I suspect that they finally got the crematoriums finished in the basements.

Nah, during the closing the military installed EM and microwave transmitters that alter people's thoughts and brainwash them. They're going to conduct a study to see if the average Walmart shopper can be brainwashed into becoming Manchurian candidates. They've installed secret bunkers underneath each WalMart, with fiber optic lines connecting them all. From these command centers, "they" can monitor their Walmart army.

Or not...

It would certainly be a more entertaining conspiracy than some plumbing or Jade Helm/martial law stuff.

Sooo does that mean the marshals will not be processing me through one of those Walmarts and into the secret tunnels below?

So, they finished their network of underground tunnels ahead of schedule.
Prepare for the invasion.

No they closed the stores to send the employees a message.

Try and ask for more money and we will just shut down.

Shoot the JadeHelm stuff was probably better for them, took the heat off the real issue.

Plumbing? They don't even close the stores to restock the damn shelves with more goods.

Walmart doesn't close the stores to do major remodels, either. The last remod at the store hubby works at took place during regular business hours. The shoppers just had to deal with it and stay out of the plasticed off areas.

When the story about the 5 closed stores broke earlier this year, the first thing he said was that the workers had probably tried to unionize. If the plumbing is busted, it's only a day or two job to fix, maybe more if the second set of restrooms is involved. The city health inspector found a little patch of mold in the wall behind the deli a few years back and only the deli was closed down for a day to remediate it, not the whole store.

I would argue the opposite. Another conspiracy theory proven to have been true. The theory was:

"Walmart stores were not shut down due to plumbing issues."

Which was just proven.

Two alternative reasons for this were speculated: tunnels, and employees attempting to form a union.

One of those alternative reasons for the shutdown was just proven.

Therefore: another conspiracy theory was confirmed. Walmart did not shut down five stores due to massive plumbing issues, as they stated and the press reported on.

Ya, closing a whole store under the guise of plumbing was bs from the get go.

Remember an interview with commercial plumber that said the same thing. Day or two fix with some out of order restrooms.

If they got all of the tunnels done, they can stop all the Janet flights. This is going to be a lot less noticeable. This way to the new area 51.

Have you SEEN the average Wal-Mart shopper lately??? Altering their minds would not be, in the least, a problem!

It was plumbing problems, not heating problems.
Gas chambers are more likely.

I want to see evidence of these so called plumbing issues. I want the contractors, from the company owner down to the laborer at the bottom rung, to testify in open court. If walmart did this to retaliate against their employees, they need to be held accountable and give all the laid off employees back pay for the work they missed. Along with extra money for pain and suffering for those who potentially lost their car or homes due to being unable to make payment, as well as the general stress of suddenly losing a job. The mental effects could be long lasting.

5 stores just happened to have issues with plumbing severe enough to warrant the closing down of a store for months which has never happened in the history of Walmart during its "superstore" era, all at the exact same time and it just happened to be happening in stores attempting to unionize? How many coincidences are involved in this fiasco?

They didn't want the union plumbers.
