Two-thirds of Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump's supporters nationwide said they believe that President Barack Obama is a Muslim, according to a poll released Tuesday.
The poll from Public Policy Polling, a Democratic-leaning firm, found that 66 percent of Trump supporters said they believed that Obama is a Muslim while just 12 percent of those who favor the real estate mogul believe Obama is a Christian.
Supporters of just three establishment GOP candidates — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R), Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) — were more inclined to believe Obama was a Christian than a Muslim, according to the poll.
PPP's survey also found that 61 percent of Trump supporters said they did not believe Obama was born in the United States.

That's 66% of Trump supporters folks. I mean did I miss a picture of Obama going into a mosque to pray? I mean as a faithful muslim you need to do this 5 times a day.

Not that I think he is, but I imagine Muslims can get around that. They can break their rules under certain conditions.

So essentially you believe Obama is a closet muslim, but you really have nothing to show that he is? You just believe this is the case? And what evidence do you have to show that they can 'break the rules under certain conditions", care to elaborate on this more? Who told you Obama was muslim?

Another reason, Muslims are not supposed to pray in sight of the heretics.
the premise of the OP is simply ridiculous.

I've edited my post Occam, I mistook what you said so apologies.
I am still curious as to what you mean by Muslims getting around these rules?
Is it acceptable for a Muslim to deny they are Muslim and not attend regular prayers? I highly doubt it. I'd be curious if you have a source.
originally posted by: Southern GuardianNow you can claim this idea that Obama is lying (Taqiyya) and that he may very well be a muslim is disguise, but in the end this is just speculation. We can apply this to anybody who's ever stated they weren't muslim. Speculation is not evidence.
Summary Answer:
Muslim scholars teach that Muslims should generally be truthful to each other, unless the purpose of lying is to "smooth over differences."
There are two forms of lying to non-believers that are permitted under certain circumstances, taqiyya and kitman. These circumstances are typically those that advance the cause Islam - in some cases by gaining the trust of non-believers in order to draw out their vulnerability and defeat them.

Trump is a fool and anyone voting for him is also.
I think the real reason many do not like him is because of his colour, they will not admit it so attempt to tarnish him by saying he is not american or a muslim.
Instead of actually attacking his policies they attack the man.
Mudslinging....
And only 29% grant that President Obama was born in the United States. That's less than the 40% who think Canadian born Ted Cruz was born in the United States.
