What is this? Missle test in FL? Hoax?

I have no idea if this is a hoax, but I trust Jim Mars has vetted it somewhat? Sorry mods if it turns out to be a hoax.

Anyone know what we're looking at? IT LOOKS WEIRD.

It's the second stage of an Atlas V launch. It was carrying the fourth MUOS satellite for the US Navy.

I was out at the airport this morning getting ready to fly and knew about the rocket launch before it went off. So, I got to see the whole thing. Living in Florida we see rocket launches all the time. This was no different than any other rocket launch. It was close to sunrise and as the rocket got higher the sun started to reflect off the exhaust. That's all it was. No alien, no UFO, nothing.

Something this big in this area should have multiple angles from multiple cameras.

Fake until that happens.

Plenty of footage to be found, from a number of angles.

It's a rocket launch!!

Oh well.

Zap makes sense. The second stages outgas their remaining fuel before falling back to earth which would give off the halo effect. It is pretty cool.
