it looks like the first two email links you posted are one in the same

I'm not seeing any ref' to "the elders" in the third email.

But that is an odd way to refer to a group, let alone one that is part of a political group. A little less weird when it come to religious group.

It is in reference to the organization Jimmy Carter is part of...hence why he was the one on the email talking about The Elders.

The Elders

Chaired by Kofi Annan, The Elders is an independent group of global leaders who work together for peace and human rights. They were brought together in 2007 by Nelson Mandela.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu served for six years as Chair before stepping down in May 2013, and remains an Honorary Elder.

The Burmese pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi was also an Honorary Elder, until her election to the Burmese parliament in April 2012.

As young-adult-dystopian-novel as it sounds, some denominations actually do have a formal body of leaders called "Elders". I grew up in one. But if this is a group of church Elders, it's a pretty special church...

A pretty good group of old folks just hanging out to solve the problems of the earth. If they can bring peace to the global nations, more power (and elder vitamins) to them.

I suppose if one believes in the concept of Global Governance under the flag and Authority of the United Nations you may have a point. Having read a tad further into the Elders sponsors and World objectives ( although couched in the most innocent
terminology ) I can see why ole Hillary would buddy up to them. She is a Globalist, a cute term for "The New World Order "
This does not bode well for any Sovereign Nation " A country's independent authority and right to govern itself.
Although American is in decline with respect to civil liberties I prefer this over the guiding hand of the United Nations.

You become a good man or woman when your intentions are good, if you see better for all mankind, and strive to achieve that, you are good. These people portray humanity, a world for all to share. Some dont, some betray, ambition is the single cause and Its a lonely road. A man half of stone, will guide you.
