It never seems to occur to so many of the members here that the requirements for President of the United States are not as high as many of us have been mislead, mistaught , and misdirected to believe. They are not high at all but only "appear" to be high in order to keep the American voter on the puppet strings.

Maybe so, but they should at least be able talk with some intelligence, understand and know the constitution and have a basic knowledge of world politics! They do meet with heads of state and take an oath to defend the constitution of the United States. If you don't even know the rights and protections granted by the constitution, you have no business even thinking of running for any political office!

I wouldn't go as far as declaring a president is just a potted plant.
