I had cats do that too but then get their neck through the handle part and you have to chase them all over the house to release them.

It doesn't look to small to me. The cat looks very happy to me and well groomed, that means it's big enough. Besides: cat's love a small place to hide.
It's their nature.

Oh I know it is hysterical. I even called my husband over to see it before rescuing the cat. Kitty didn't look too pleased about the whole ordeal but we sure did laugh like hell.
