I must warn you, though, that even then I will be limiting myself to "whether the Old Testament remedies work".
My plan of "one piece of the jigsaw at a time" means that I won't be launching into a discussion of the New Testament approach.

Does that mean, then, that you will not be addressing the question of why God would lead the Hebrews to believe in some kind of atonement that would never be acceptable or workable, within his ultimate plan?

the way of the master series is an invention of Ray Comfort and his Lordship salvation movement.

Everyone I know that got involved in it became legalist and shifted from solid bible to practicing OT law added to the cross of Christ.
