The headline says. "Clinton Camp Says One-Fifth of Delegates Secured for Nomination."

I reckon that leaves four-fifths up for grabs.

No need to read any further in this ludicrously titled and smelly thread.

Yeah, if you only comment on headlines and titles...move along.

The Clinton camp’s claim to more than 440 delegates means she’s already wrapped up the support of more than 60 percent of the approximately 713 superdelegates who, under party rules, are among those who cast votes for the nomination, along with delegates selected by rank-and-file voters in primaries and caucuses beginning next February.

Oh I will move along.

Sorry if your panties got into a bunch because I, like many others, don't like being tricked into coming into a thread by an intentionally and glaringly fake title.

Let's put it this way. . .

If it was a Trump vs Hillary contest, who'd vote for Hillary?

If that were to happen the responsible adult in me would vote for Paul. Now if I was pissy because I knew Hillary would win then I would write in DEEZ NUTZ.

Who is the honest conservative?

Trump??

And don't see anyone endorsing or saying that the hill dog is better, or is the bernie the corrupt leftist here?

I'd say Carson would be the most honest of all of them.

Then Trump, then Carly.

But it doesn't matter.

You'll vote for Hillary before voting for any conservative or GOP'er anyway.

I love Trump...

All the people that make me miserable.

Trump makes them go crazy.

Make America Great Again...Cue....Twisted Sister

I was thinking more about Ronnie singing the title cut from
"The Mob Rules". Maybe she's arrogant enough to believe
the same money that got her overlooked last time will giver
a shot THIS time... in disregard of her trail of destruction.

I'm really convinced she and the PTB are going to pull this
off by a nose. The last four elections after all were won by
less than 4%.. easily flippable by just machines and no other
kind of skullbuggery.

Add to that the possibility that BIll could be the UN Ambas-
sador to the US within six months after Inaugie Day...how's
that for a dynastic nightmare?

This is how corrupt politicians get elected.

You can have an honest conservative and a corrupt leftist, but those on the left will take corruption before honesty simply because i=of ideological differences.

This is how Hillary will get elected.

People may think she's evil, a liar, and distrustful. . . . but she'd be better than an honest republican!

EEK!

It's the old "lesser of 2 evils" meme. If for some reason the Donald steamrolls uninterrupted to the nomination(I don't think it will happen, but that's my opinion), and with his disapproval rating not decreasing, voters will go into default mode and vote for HRC if shes the Dem pick.

Oh what a tangled web...blah..blahh...

Maybe she does, if so and it was a shot at Bernie and Joe, then she just gave a big f you to Bernie supporters. Who if nothing else are quite passionate. Funny thing is come crunch time she may need some of those voters. Nothing like pulling the old f you, btw I need your help routine.

Lost cause anyway, clinton, Bush pick your poison.

It's much more complicated than that.

First of all, Trump is not a conservative. There is not one conservative on the Republican ticket. Paul comes close, but his integrity was shot when he endorsed Romney over his father. If there was a real conservative on the ticket, I'd be inclined to vote for them.

Second, if congress is still controlled by the GOP I'd rather have someone in the White House to act as a check and balance. Trump with a GOP congress is a recipe for disaster. You've said yourself that a congress that does noting is better than a congress that continues to erode freedoms and trash the country.

Third, Trump is no beacon of truth and integrity. To even imply that is ridiculous. He's nothing more than a greasy used car salesmen that decided he had enough money and name recognition to play politics.

People may think she's evil, a liar, and distrustful. . . . but she'd be better than an honest republican!

In this case, yes. The biggest thing that worries me about Trump is foreign relations. Clinton is all of the things you described, but has experience and can be reasonably expected to represent us globally with at least a bit of respect. We can expect Trump to shout-down at people, make demands and be rude.

That is not the kind of person we need to lead the nation with all of the global complexities of US foreign relations, and is at the helm of the largest military on the face of the Earth.

I don't doubt this at all. Loads of political clout, favors owed. And I'd wager they know where more than one body is buried. Politics....American Style.

I think all the Hillary supporters on ATS are playing golf with all the Jeb supporters.
They equally have the same amount of virtual tumbleweeds

Hillary will be the lefts version of "Oh well...Hey, at least it's not a republican vote".
Just like when the right voted for McCain and Romney. The "Oh well...Hey, at least it ain't Obama vote".

In the near future, all the ATS members who supported Trump will be the in-the-closet Palin supporters of yesteryear.
You know the "Look it's a politician who is unscripted and doesn't think before talking. How refreshing!".

In the near future, all the Bernie Sanders supporters will be like the Ron Paul supporters of yesteryear.
You know the "Don't blame me I voted for Bernie".

Corruption in politics is so common now that it's not even an issue anymore for voters.

I'd rather see an honest socialist than a corrupt anything-ist, personally.

But this is how Hillary will get elected.

People will vote for her because she's;
Honest
Corrupt, but against a GOP'er.

I don't think it's a great idea for someone to tout their experience with something when the only thing their experience demonstrates is that they completely sucked at it.

She may have experience in foreign affairs,
but on the job with foreign affairs,
she completely and throughly screwed up
everything she touched.
So her experience gains her a F-
in my book.
So a person whose only experience proves
that she can mess things up really horribly
is better than someone with no experience.
Really?

Foreign governments respect her? Really?
After she messed up so very badly and
opened herself up to sabotage
and blackmail with her "in the bathroom"
server?

I'd think foreign governments would see
her as a pushover and a joke at the
very best.

A choice between an honest person and a corrupt person should be an easy decision.

But when it comes to politics, most will vote for the corrupt person over an honest person simply on ideology.

And we wonder why the US is such a train wreck.

No, she thinks that the voting
will be "fixed" so that she will
win because she is owed the
win for sticking with the
hound dog of a husband

She is certain that the powers that be
will fix the election so she can't lose.

And heaven help the US if that is true.

I think the problem is that we get bad choices and believe that we have to make them. A vote between Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton is a bad choice. We lose no matter what. It would come down to the few ideological differnces between them that would dictate an actual choice. Belief in Man Made Global Warming. LGBT Rights. and a few others. Most everything else they spout off is political speak or a lie.

So if they are both the same and both corporate lap dogs...and there are only a few small differences. MMGW and LGBT issues amongst them, I have to vote for Hillary. Although I would much rather vote for Sanders. But anything to stop Bush, really. And I'm afraid that if it came down to it and Sanders was independent. that Hillary might be the only way to stop Bush.

Such bad choices.

A bully that knows nothing,
except extensive and broad
experience with foreign
business affairs, and successfully
handling lots and lots of
foreign business affairs.

In my opinion, trumps, (pun intended)
an experienced screw up in foreign policy
who is now open to blackmail from
her "bathroom server" that was vulnerable
to hacking the top secret and confidential
emails she sent and received.

Even Daffy Duck would be better at foreign affairs
than a person with an open track record
of being horrid at foreign affairs
and of being flippant with American security.
