Lust/sex...
Gluttony/Good Food...
Greed/Money
Pride/Physical Beauty...

All of these things seem to be temporary, but giving to others to help them and give them joy, makes Life feel more meaningful.

It is in that feeling of giving to others that we feel like we've done something important. It is in that feeling of wanting to give, help, and inspire others that we feel like we have a greater purpose.

Law of Attraction/Faith Causing Miracles is true, but unless you are creating your life experience with Meaning/Purpose, then you will not feel fulfilled. It will feel like a void/emptiness.

Say kind words.
Give an honest compliment of appreciation.
Put a smile on someone's face.

Since everything is connected, and everything at the highest level is one -- helping others is really helping yourself.

Every time you are rude or mean to someone, you're being rude and mean to yourself. We're all just distorted mirrors for each other.

Nothing beats the feeling of doing something noble like sharing!...

We are all one, yet are many. We share not only because we want to feel good about it, but also we become overflowing with love that it leaks to others, by way of sharing. Whether it be a simple smile or shoulder for others to lean on, we do it none the less.

Nothing beats the feeling of doing something noble like sharing!...

Peace

You know that feeling you get when you do something incredibly nice for someone? You feel really good don't you? That's the Law of Attraction in action, it's instantaneous.

Holding grudges is bad for your health, but it feels good to forgive people. When you hold a grudge, that sick feeling you get when thinking of them is you punishing yourself. If you don't forgive them then you can never forgive yourself.

Nice thread. S&F

Attempting to make life more meaningful doesn't make life more meaningful. If it did, there would be a whole lot of meaning, but nothing would make sense.

It's not true, because truth doesn't apply to things that can't be falsified. In order for something to be true, it has to be tested and determined to be true, but an idea which in all instances can not be proven wrong can not be proven right, either.

Whatever you choose in life, is your choice. If you live a good life, someone else lives a bad life. The pendulum always gives a counter effect, thats the wonderful thing with magic.

While it sounds nice, what does one really own so that it can be given to others?

Whatever you choose in life, is your choice.

A meaningless statement, if there ever was one.

If you live a good life, someone else lives a bad life.

Other people will live good and bad lives regardless of however I choose to live my life.

The pendulum always gives a counter effect, thats the wonderful thing with magic.

When did we start talking about magic? Pendulums don't necessitate belief in magic for you to be able to enjoy them.
