I paid perfect attention, sir. I read your post several times over.
I agreed with you on the majority of your points.

Trump is an entertainer, no different than Ricky Martin....

They are BOTH entertainers....yet you disparage the opinions of "entertainers" (with whom you do not agree).
Sad.
Sad Fail.

fail because I don't support trump the entertainer and said I don't care about what entertainers think about politicians? Ok. Obviously you didn't read what I said since you posted.

Then why would you support Trump - the "entertainer" who has a Hollywood Star all his own...who says all sorts of things about 'politicans' being stupid??

Hmmmm?

After I specifically said I didnt support trump. Sad fail sir, sad fail

I hope the whole political system goes down in burning fire... Trump is probably the best alternative but I doubt even he gets elected he will get a lot done. More like a sitting duck because the "establishment" doesn't want change.

Are you aware that Reagan was responsible for closing all state-funded mental health faciities, and for lowering tax rates for corporations?

And how that has been the demise of the Middle Class?

Also, how he caused the epidemic of homeless, untreated mentally ill folks that communities are expected to 'look after' with no support whatsoever?

You aware of all that? Right?
And that since his presidency, the Middle Class has been set adrift? Because he cut corporate and rich-people tax rates?

You know that stuff....right??

If only we had a person in another party that would have fixed these problems in the almost 30 years since he left office. One can hope one day.

Don't believe that either Sanders or trump will get elected. If a miracle happened and one did, I don't believe establishment politicians in congress would allow either to accomplish much.

Okay, fine.
I've looked back through. Maybe I confused your post with someone else's. My bad.

I also do not trust "entertainers", and Trump is just that...

a circus clown.

Again, I apologize. I don't trust Trump....and since Ricky Martin (or Kim Kardashi*an or whoever) and Trump are all "entertainers" by trade, then NONE of them deserve respect or attention. Reagan was an "entertainer", too - and HE WAS THE ONE who ruined this country's economy....and he was an "actor."

Right?
High five. Cool. Sorry for getting confused.

Let's not forget that he funded and armed the mujaheddin while they were fighting Russia and continued to do so. You know, a few guns for Osama, some radical Islam and now we have Al Qaeda.

Reagan is responsible for what we have today through his crappy proxy wars.

If you will simply replace trump, with the statement that politicians are circus clowns, which currently trump is acting like he is.

I will not only high 5 you, I'll fly to your location and hug you.

Done.

Except for Bernie.

That's where I draw the line.
Thanks, though....

I assume you mean operation cyclone. I think if you look at the key players in that pertaining to political affiliation, who controlled congress, who was president, what years, etc. That my statement that democrats and republican work together on the big things will ring true.

That's ok , I may disagree with both Bernie and trump but one thing I like about both men. I think their popularity is showing both parties there is growing dissatisfaction with the status quo. I agree and support that.

With how Hillary and Bernie both handled the BLM issue, if they are as strong a force as everyone makes them out to be, I dont think either will be getting that vote either.

It might be that if Ben Carson or one of the other ethnic people in the GOP ticket, get passed the primaries, that they actually rally all those votes

Especially Carson, he has an amazing life story im sure will resonate with that community

But alas I dunno, too early to tell

I know one thing, Trump doesnt help anyone but Hillary

I can agree. But Reagan get's to take blame for that too.

Should we also revisit the October Surprise? I know that's "conspiracy", but it's worth mentioning.

Don't care what he is, not in my voting future. I just really don't care what Rickey Martin or any other entertainer has to say about politicians either. General statement on the Martin post, less about trump

I lived through it and it was the best this country has been during my lifetime. I am not brainwashed I was there.

The best President in my lifetime was former actor Ronald Regan. Al Franken is in politics. What's your point?

Reagan was a disaster for this country. His presidency is only held in such high regard by those brainwashed by the right wing propaganda machine.

I was aware he was on some illegal immigrant kick, was not aware he was denigrating Hispanics in general but I'll look into it.

It doesn't matter what he actually has said or what his actual position is, it is reading as extremely negative from the Hispanic perspective.

I know several people of Puerto Rican descent (second and third generation living on the mainland )who have never mentioned politics to me before but are now talking disdainfully about Trump every time I have seen them lately.

While I disagree with most of what's going on with politics and political parties the one thing that's great is in the end the voters will speak and all the speculation will end. Unless you think that with electronic voting machine are rigged and no way to audit them truthfully. In that case all the speculation ends and still a good thing.

Electronic voting machines practically guarantee rigged elections.

It is way too easy for someone to rig/hack an electronic voting machine.

That is why we need outside international observers
at our elections!

Electronic voting should be outlawed,
it can still be done quickly with
scantron like machines
that leave a paper trail.

With electronic voting there will be rigged elections.
That is one thing we can all be absolutely without a doubt
certain of.

We should never ever allow any voting to be done
without a paper trail that can be checked against
the electronics. EVER!

If the next time you vote and you find that there
will be no paper trail, no paper ballot, rest assured
the election will be rigged by someone.

Very true. The "Congress" revels in obstructionism!!!

I can, though, see it happening that one of them (Trump or Sanders) gets elected. TPTB have a right-wing 1%er vs a Democratic Socialist......and everyone else is being paid off to 'challenge' them...........
How is this not a circus????

However, I hold out hope that Sanders is actually elected. Even if the "electoral college" boos him (ya know, like "boo! You suck!") it wouldn't mean that the GENERAL POPULACE disagrees with him.
(They don't, btw.)

You're right.

We had an anti-establishment Democrat get elected mayor here. The city Council closed ranks like a clique of mean girls in high school and everyone in the press did everything they could to make an issue out of anything and everything they could.
